Design Of Low-Density Elderly Community In Severe Cold Area

Currently aging has become an important issue in many countries around the world,as a large elderly population country,China,the housing problem of the elderly become our problems to be solved,in the background of China’s current pension due to the characteristics of the lower house itself has suitable for the elderly living conditions,some of the senior housing project will be located in low-rise residential housing form.But a lot of projects for the elderly in cold area of residential insufficient consideration regional characteristics,suitable aging design also insufficient for the elderly living habits and needs real lack understanding,there have been many pension only low-level high-end real estate for selling real estate.Based on these phenomena,this study will examine the object located in the older low-rise residential buildings in cold area design.Firstly,the aging of our objective to understand the background,at home and abroad in cold area of low-rise senior housing research and documentation,analysis and induction of such existing elderly housing design features and laws.Then through the low-rise senior housing foreign case studies,summarizes the advanced experience of the developed countries advisable in cold area of low-rise residential design from older building product characteristics and design features of both units.Secondly,through research and analysis methods to investigate the real housing needs and product selection tendency of the cold area of the elderly,and older low-rise residential projects field research cold areas,comparative analysis of the current lack of cold regions corresponding types of products in terms of design.Finally,the results of previous research to explore low-rise elderly housing in cold areas planning,architectural design elements viable outdoor space,including the positioning of project analysis,site selection factors,planning principles,community transport,landscape,public service facilities,etc.Suitable aging design.Meanwhile this paper also older residential building type selection and layout design of a viable design strategy were discussed.
