For a long time,the phenomenon of parking congestion near bus stations in big cities in China is very prominent,and the important reason for this phenomenon is the unreasonable setting of parking stations.The unreasonable setting of bus stops is mainly due to insufficient berths or non-standard platform size design,which can not meet the demand of bus stops.Bus vehicles often arrive at the stop in line during the rush hour,and appear the phenomenon of vehicles waiting in line outside the station.In view of the above problems,the optimization and organization design of multi-line bus stops are studied.The multi-line bus stops are classified and the characteristics of different types of bus stops are analyzed.In order to meet the needs of bus stops as the premise,this paper calculates the number of berths required by various types of multi-line bus stops by using the capacity method,and analyzes the relationship among berths,residence time and parking capacity.Take per capita area as the evaluation index of service level,this paper puts forward a method to optimize the size of multi-line bus stop station,and gives the flow chart of platform size optimization design under the condition of setting auxiliary station and not setting auxiliary station.In order to realize the smooth entry and exit of the bus and to improve the effective utilization rate of the stop station,the number of stops more than two times per hour,the queue length and the average waiting time were selected as the evaluation indexes.Through the simulation of VISSIM,the evaluation index value of each underlined docking organization scheme is obtained,and the comprehensive evaluation function value of the service level of the docking station under each organization plan is calculated by using the comprehensive index evaluation method.The organization scheme of the sidewalk bus stop and the bus bay stop is evaluated.Changchun City,Gongnong Square Station and Minkang Road Station were selected as examples to analyze the cases.The results of the optimization of the number of berths,platform size and docking organization layout of the two docking stations were obtained.
