With rapid development of social economy and industry in China,high speed rail construction has become important support of national economy and infrastructure construction.Overhead catenary system(OCS)is a king of special power transmission cable,suspended overhead of electrified railway line.Because OCS is built on stilts,without alternative equipment,exposed to the open air and severe environment for long term,with heat expansion and contraction etc.characteristics,OCS shall be inspected and maintained regularly to ensure safe operation of railway trains.Due to operation quality was seek gradually,meanwhile,environment conversation and operation environment request concept of people have been improved,conventional OCS operation car can't meet the requirements of environment friendly and high efficiency.So it is a trend of industry to develop a new generation of OCS maintenance car with hybrid power propulsion.The paper mainly describes frame structure design and strength analysis of key part of a type of hybrid propulsion power OCS maintenance car and optimizes frame structure based on calculation result and research.Based on bidirectional travel,upper part of frame is fitted with cab at front and rear end to meet ride requirement.Propulsion battery unit and three units of operation equipments are arranged in middle section of upper frame.Two units of power bogies are arranged at front end under frame.Middle section of under frame is arranged with two sets of diesel power unit,hydraulic system,brake system and electric system etc.The paper introduced general layout by whole vehicle layout and motion relationship between operation unit configuration and various mechanism.Then carbody structure is designed according to features of vehicle power unit,traction unit and operation unit.Then CAD/CAE technology is adopted and modeled by PRO/E 3D software and ANSYS Workbench is used to carbody FEA and optimization design.After completion of trial produce,static under-frame strength test will be conducted by China National Railway Product Quality Check & Test Center.Test result is basically identical to that calculated,which comply with industrial standard requirements.Power and transmission system of the vehicle is featured with advanced technology,strong comprehensive operation performance and difficult frame design.The design and research of the frame provides reference for R&D of complicated product.
