Highway of China has formed a comprehensive national highway network after years of development and need some maintenance after the construction to make the road keep excellent performance.To formulate the corresponding maintenance measures and predict the follow-up maintenance time node which can make maintenance department prepare work in advance,we has researched and analyzed the relevant datas combined with the existing technology based on the maintenance of highway Hang-Rui from yangxin county to fenglin county(K560 + 000?K578+463).We have some conclusions as following:(1)Highway Hang-Rui from yangxin county to fenglin county(K560+000?K578 + 463)where comes cracks,pits and ruts diseases after years of use and has been found that rutting depth index(RDI)is unqualified.The pavement surface condition index(PCI)and riding quality index(RQI)is qualified.Sideway force coefficient of pavements(SFC)is barely qualified and pavement structure strength index(PSSI)level is optimal.(2)After the comprehensive analysis of pavement disease,the maintenance plan we have made is to construct the top layer with 4 cm modified AC-13C and the middle layer with 6 cm modified AC-20C and we have made asphalt mixtures gradation design and performance test after that,the result showed that every performance index conformed to the specification requirements and the indicators conformed to the requirements of the specification after with the asphalt mixture paving the 150 m test road.So the scheme can be used at all.(3)We have surveyed annual average daily traffic volume of single lane in this road section to calculate and analyse and the survey datas were used to get the equivalent cumulative standard axle by selecting various car models to fit out the relationship between number of years and equivalent cumulative standard axle which is f(x)= 10231x + 41046.(4)We have predicted the subsequent maintenance plan after the completion of this maintenance which focused on the process of mechanical analysis basing on the ruts depth by using Abaqus software to simulate,we have found that pavement ruts depth will reach 10.07 mm in 2020,will reach 15.55 mm in 2024 and will reach 20.03 mm in 2028.So we recommend maintenance departments to make reasonable maintenance plan in combination with the disease of the road with which we have detected.
