As an important part of the railway station signal system,the correct conversion of the switch is closely related to the safety of the traffic and the operational efficiency.As a key equipment of the switch control circuit,the switch machine is very important to the efficiency of fault detection and maintenance of the railway running safety.At present,the fault detection of turnout machines in the field mainly depends on manual detection and empirical judgment,which is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive but also has great uncertainty.In response to this problem,this paper is based on the working principle of the traditional electric centralized five-wire ballast control circuit,and it is aimed at the AC switch machine on China's general-purpose railway line,combining embedded technology,sensor technology,power electronics,communication technology,graphical interface,etc,designing a portable ballast control circuit tester that can realize the intelligent detection and analysis of the switch control circuit faults.Based on the basic theory of railway signal operation,the thesis starts from the control principle of traditional 6502 electric centralized five-wire ballast control circuit,analyzes the internal structure and working characteristics of the AC switch machine,and deepens the understanding of the design principle of the tester.In addition,through the extensive review of domestic and international references and the development status of switchgear testing equipment at home and abroad,the functions of the tester were finally divided into an offline switch module for AC switch machines and an online switch module for AC switch machines.First of all,it analyzes in detail the functions that each sub-module needs to implement,then completes the design of sub-modules according to hardware and software.And the portable ballast control circuit tester is based on the bus platform architecture and can connect the sub-module circuit boards through the backplane for joint debugging.The test results show that the portable ballast control circuit tester can better fulfill the pre-designed functional requirements.For example: to complete the operation of the offline switching machine,to collect the electrical parameters such as the operating current and voltage of the switch,and the human-machine interface to correctly display the current curve of the switch.Railway operators can efficiently complete the maintenance work of the railway communication system through the tester.Compared with the traditional maintenance method,the maintenance method of the tester can shorten the working time by half,greatly improve the maintenance work efficiency,and ensure the safety of trains.It also greatly increases the train traffic rate and has a high market value and economic benefits.And the tester has a learning function,and the electrician can save the special cases encountered.When the re-encounter or other electric maintenance personnel encounter the same fault,assist in quickly troubleshooting.And the manufacturer of the electric service system can optimize the electric service system equipment through the current curves and data reports collected at the site.Therefore,the portable ballast control circuit tester has a very broad market prospect.
