Study On Learning Commons In Modern University Library Building

With the development of imformation technology and change of educational mothod,the way people acquire knowledge is gradually changing.The functions and forms in the traditional library building can not meet users’ modern demands anymore.As one of the most important public spaces for acquiring knowledge in the campus,the use-pattern of university library building should adjust its functions and forms in order to follow users’changing needs.Based on the research of use status and users’ demands for forms and functions with library building,the author has made the design of library building in Information Institute of Wuhan University.Studying on the design of learning commons spaces in library building is aimed at to provide a more attractive,vitality and humanized learning commons spcace which could meet users’ modern demands.
