| In recent years,with the rapid development of wind power in China,the problem of wind power curtailment in “Three North” region is increasingly prominent.How to solve this problem has aroused the attention of the whole society.Since the marginal cost of the curtailed wind power is almost zero,the electric heating equipment can be used to replace the decentralized coal-fired boilers for heating by consuming the wind power,which is called “wind power heating”.The wind power heating project can not only eliminate the wind power could have been curtailed and avoid the waste of clean energy,but also reduce the environmental pollution caused by the burning of fossil fuels,therefore,it is being vigorously promoted by the state.However,the actual operation experience shows that the energy-saving effect and economy of the existing pilot projects are poor.To provide relevant reference for policy makers of wind power heating projects,the heating mode,operation strategy and configuration plan of wind power heating project are researched in this paper.The main work and conclusion are as follows:According to the basic principle of the wind power heating project,a general mathematical model including basic heating module,storage heating module and heat accumulation module is established.Considering the uncertainty of wind power,the concept of wind power curtailment characteristics was proposed to describe the law of curtailed wind,and based on the actual wind power data in a Northeast wind farm,the three kinds of characteristics of wind power curtailment(distribution,duration and interval,respectively)and their influence on wind power heating project are analyzed.Then the difference between the independent heating mode and complementary heating mode of wind power heating are briefly analyzed.For independent heating mode,a flexible operation strategy is built to coordinate three modules’ operation according to curtailed wind power.Then,a mathematical model is developed to calculate the coal-saving performance and national economy,furthermore a strategy is proposed to determine the optimal allocation scale of the project by the payback period.The example based on actual wind power data,compares the coal–saving performance between the fixed time operation strategy and the coordinated operation strategy of heating project,calculates the optimal capacity of pure electric boiler scheme and heat pump included scheme,and analyses the economy and its influencing factors of two schemes.The results show that the coordinated operation strategy can significantly increase the proportion of the wind power in the wind power heating project,thereby improving coal-saving effect and national economy of project.Heat pump can effectively improve the economy of the project because of its high energy efficiency.But the economy of the wind power heating project under the independent heating mode is still poor,the reason is that the use of pure condensing power is unavoidable and the utilization of heat generation modules is low.In view of the defects of the independent wind power heating project,the operation mode of the complementary heating between wind power heating project and CHP plant is put forward.Based on the construction of the basic mathematical model of the wind heating project,the operation strategy model and coal-saving model of wind power heating project under complementary heating mode are established.In the example,the operation of the wind power heating projects in the whole heating period under the two modes are simulated.The results show that,under the complementary heating mode,the wind power heating can replaced by CHP plant instead of the condensing power when the wind is not curtailed and the heat storage is insufficient,moreover,the electric boiler will continue work to replace the heat supply of the CHP plant when the wind is curtailed and the heat storage is full,thus it has a great advantage in the coal-saving effect as well as in economy.Under this heating mode,the thermal power plant has played a similar role of heat storage,so the wind power heating project does not need to configure heat storage equipment,thereby saving a lot of investment costs.The research methods and conclusions in this paper can provide reference for planning and operation of wind power heating projects in China. |
