The Vitality Elements Study Of The Traditional Style Street Based On The Perspective Of Behavior Research

In terms of the rapid urbanization process,the large-scale construction has causedtremendous damage to the historical texture of the traditional style neighborhood and the public life mode of the residents.The internal vitality of the street has begun to drain,meanwhile,the traditional streets have gradually lost their place and life.So the main question which we are facing is how to promote people's communication behaviour under the influence of rapid culture and networking situation,at the same time,let people return to the original street life through the design of external streets.In this study,combing a series of theoretical studies at home and abroad,we established a traditional street with rich vitality and public social interaction activities as the research object.Through selected 8 streets in Shanghai Hengfu Nature Reservation as our research cases,we started from analysing the behavior of the users within the street and the vibrancy which derived from it.we are supposed to explore the relationship between vitality and the physical elements of the street.The overall evaluation of the street vitality is mainly based on the flow statistics of users in the street and the evaluation of the users.The aim of the user's evaluation is to assist flow statistics analysis.Through the street vitality value in the study sample.We are supposed to explore the relationship between the spatial elements of street material and the vitality values in the street,so as to obtain the street physical environment elements that can truly explain the street vitality.Finally,through the abstraction of the results,we have come up with some strategies for upgrading the traditional style of the street,which including the attractiveness of the traditional style,mix of the formats and the appropriate percentage of the city formats,convenient service facilities,space penetration and multi-level feelings,and good quality of slowly traffic.They all contribute to the vitality of traditional streets.In this paper,we added tourist as the research sample,they contribute to the sightseeing,shopping,etc.,this is an interesting exploration and we perfected the objects of the street research sample.Different users in the street meet and collide each other,resulting in a number of unpredictable behaviors.We hope to study the collisions between different behaviors,analyze their impacts on the street distribution,street style protection and other factors.The conclusions optimized the method of how to enhance the vitality of the whole street while preserving the style and appearance,effectively increased the sustainability and livability of the historical style street blocks,thereby enhancing the vitality of the entire street.
