Energy is an important production factor, but it is not just a simple commodity or production factor. To a certain extent, energy has become the standard to measure the strength and status of a country, and it is the bloodline of national economic development. And is even a bargaining chip between countries in international relations. In particular, oil, which plays a central role in energy, has a crucial influence on the development of the country's economy. It is impossible to change human dependence on traditional energy sources such as coal, oil, and natural gas in a short period of time because of scientific and technological progress. The energy issue has become the most important issue in many issues of China's national economic development.Among the many factors that affect energy security, geopolitics is an important factor that cannot be overlooked. In the existing literature, many studies have been conducted on energy supply security, demand safety, and safety of use in China, but there is insufficient research on geo-energy security in the context of the global energy geo-environment which include the source. With the continuous increase of China's energy imports total and the continuous changes in the sources of energy imports, the temporal pattern of China's energy imports has also changed.Different sources of energy imports have their own special geo-environment,and the geo-environment has different impact on the geo-energy security. Therefore, the evolution of the temporal pattern of China's energy import sources will have an important impact on China's geo-energy security.Based on this reflection, this article has a systematic review of domestic and foreign related research, adopts a combination of theoretical and empirical, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods from the perspective of geopolitics, and analyzes the evolution of temporal pattern of China's energy import. In addition to the traditional influencing factors, this paper constructs geo-energy assessment indicators from the perspective of changes in the geographical environment of source countries, changes in energy transportation channels, changes in geo-relationship with importing countries, and geo-energy patterns due to the evolution of temporal pattern of energy import area.and in China. This article takes China's oil an example, and do a concrete empirical analysis. The main work and conclusions are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction. It makes a systematic review of the related research of the article, and elaborates the background, significance, the content, the technical route, the research methods and the innovation of the article. The second chapter, based on the analysis of the current status of three major traditional energy import in China, summarizes the law of temporal evolution of coal, petroleum, and natural gas import sources in China. At present China's coal, oil, and natural gas all have different degrees of imports,of which the largest amount of oil imports, and the most obvious changes in the evolution pattern of oil imports. The third chapter analyzes the impact which the evolution of the temporal pattern of energy imports brings to China's geopolitical energy security.Changes in energy imports amount and changes in energy sources will affect China's geopolitical energy security, among which the main factor which affected geographical energy security caused by changes in geographical environment, changes in transport routes, changes in geopolitical relations, and changes in the international geo-energy pattern duo to Changes in energy sources. The fourth chapter constructs a geo-energy security evaluation index system, determines the evaluation scoring standards of all index by the literature research method as well as the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, uses the entropy method to determine the weights of various influencing factors, and,at the same time, analyzes and quantifies and compares the impact of geopolitical energy security caused by changes in imports amount of 85.5% or more of China's oil in 2006,2011,and 2016 in import source countries. The fifth chapter is the conclusions and countermeasures.Based on the previous research, the author summarizes the opportunities and challenges that geo-energy security may face, and proposes corresponding countermeasures from the theoretical perspective.
