With the rapid development of the tourism industry,the rural settlements in the Honghe Hani Terrace Cultural Landscape Heritage Area have generally undergone a process of transition to the social space pattern.In this process,the reconstruction of various spaces shows an accelerating trend,among which there are reasonable adjustments and also a phenomenon that traditional culture is continuously disappearing.Based on field surveys,this thesis first explored the archetypes of traditional settlements.The small-scale peasant economic society and the clan blood relationship are the main factors affecting the formation and development of traditional rural settlements.With the rapid development of social economy and tourism,foreign capital directly affects the development of rural settlements.The rural settlement has gone from homogenization to the stage of differentiation and showed a remarkable diversity of features.The thesis summed up the three stages of the tourism development are from stability,expansion to convergence.The social production and life are also diversified.With the driving forces and the mechanism of spatial reconstruction,concluded that policy,market and society independently or jointly affect its process,the rural settlements in the heritage area generally present a chaotic and disordered external representation.Based on this problem,Aiming at the blindness of tourism development and construction in the villages,with the methods in tourism geography,it evaluated the tourism adaptability of 82 traditional rural settlements.With integrating unique tourism resources with development prospects,it acquired four types of tourism adaptive villages.Afterwards,Based on the above analysis,it presented suggestions for reconstructing to social space pattern.
