Since 2010,the planning,construction,and operation of urban rail transit in China have experienced explosive growth.Domestic large,medium,and small cities have joined the extensive planning and construction of rail transit,and regard it as the hub for promoting the formation and development of urban space.Site development and research results are fruitful.As a meridional orbital line of the orbital system,it is the basic skeleton of the "orbital city" network and is the corridor link of the serial orbital sites.It lacks sufficient research attention.Whether the urban functional belt formed by the rail line is in line with the urban development corridor,whether the rail can effectively share the passenger flow,whether the passenger flow along the line is balanced,and whether a series of issues that cannot be ignored such as whether the land use along the rail is efficient or not affects the availability of the rail line.Effectively guide the development of the city,serve the city's construction and the main demand.Therefore,this paper attempts to study from the perspective of rail transit lines.Firstly,based on the analysis of the coordination relationship between urban development corridors,rail lines,and formation and development of banded urban space guided by rail lines.It reiterates that it is necessary to continue adhering to the planning concept of “building the rail is to build the city” and put forward a proposal based on the “Linear City”.Based on compact urban planning theory,the spatial development along the rail line is considered as a “Linear City”,and the development goals of a city development corridor with a strip-like land layout as a unit are rationally constructed.Secondly,under the premise of systematically reviewing the basic theories and related research developments of urban traffic and urban development,urban traffic development corridors,urban public transport adaptability evaluation,urban rail transit route planning,and taking into consideration the existing research The research results on the rail line level are still insufficient.Therefore,the research prospects for the comprehensive evaluation of adaptability based on the rail line level are proposed.Thirdly,it analyzes in detail the technical and economic characteristics of the rail line,the interaction between the rail line construction and the urban development corridors,and extracts relevant influencing factors.The four-level comprehensive evaluation index system of “module-criterion-indicator” Covers 6 major adaptive modules,including the overall level?space level?land use level?efficiency level?engineering level ? wisdom management level,8 criteria layers and 29 evaluation indicators.Fourthly,using AHP and membership function clustering method,Xiamen Rail Transit Line 1 is selected as a case,and its overall adaptability and adaptability of each module layer are evaluated comprehensively.Finally,according to the results of adaptive comprehensive evaluation,we propose improvement strategies and suggestions from the four aspects of functional block layout,land development and utilization,traffic organization coordination,and operation sustainability,and construct a “Linear City” that will gather vitality.Based on this,it provides a reference for the related planning of other rail transit cities and the study of "Orbital City".
