With the development of economy,the electricity consumption in various aspects of society has increased greatly,and the hydropower development industry has also got rapid development.Due to the remote location,poor logistics environment,complex social environment of the hydropower development project,required engineering materials mainly rely on the long distance transportation,and have huge demand.Rail transshipment system is the key logistics node in the material supply chain,the operation efficiency of it has greatly influence on the whole hydropower development project.The current research of rail transshipment system mainly focuses on the theory,the simulation research can help to improve the operation efficiency of it.In this paper,the rail transshipment system of large-scale hydropower development project in China is taken as the background.The operation process of inbound logistics of rail transshipment has been analyzed in-depth.Key links have been located and put into optimization research.Two grouping rules of wagons have been put forward: the first wagon arrived being grouped first,grouping according to the distribution of storage tank.Optimization methods of key links have been embedded into the simulation model of bulk materials inbound logistics.The VV&A(Verification,validation,accreditation)method of modeling and simulation has been researched,and the appropriate validation method of this simulation model has been found out.The validity of the simulation model has been confirmed through model validation,and it lays a solid foundation for the subsequent simulation experiments.The actual operation data of Yalong river hydropower development project are selected,the experiment numbers of each case are determined through the terminating simulation output analysis,the simulation experiments of bulk materials inbound logistics under two grouping rules have been carried out,the experiments results have been analyzed.The experiment results have shown that the simulation model established in this paper is credible through validation.The total tardiness time and penalty cost of wagons are better than the actual situations under the two grouping rules.Between two grouping rules,the optimization efficiency of the first kind of grouping rule is higher.The bottleneck of bulk materials inbound logistics in this kind of rail transshipment system is the para-unloading link.
