With the development of manufacturing,the resource consumption and environmental impact problems are becoming more and more serious.Sustainability has been attracted extensive attention in manufacturing.Integrating sustainability assessment into decision making for manufacturing system is becoming a vital subject.Meanwhile,service-oriented manufacturing becomes a new development model under the promotion of manufacturing informatization.The manufacturing resource capability is presented in the form of service,which consumers worldwide can share together.Selecting the optimal manufacturing service from the global service alternatives is the key to the circulation of manufacturing capability under service-oriented manufacturing.In addition,the manufacturing capability assessment provides choice basis for the optimal production scheduling and dispatching in a job shop.The processing equipment resources are the basic and critical manufacturing resources,for which the assessment of sustainable manufacturing capability is of great significance.The processing equipment of workshop is studied in this paper.Firstly the connotation and influence factors of sustainable manufacturing capability for the equipment are analyzed,and then the assessment indicators are determined.Meanwhile a dynamic grey correlation decision-making model based on timing sequence is prospered.In the end,the prototype system is designed and implemented.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Integrating sustainability assessment into manufacturing decision-making,the connotation of sustainable manufacturing capability for the equipment is studied and the dynamic assessment framework is prospered.Key performance indicators are introduced and then based on the principle of “setting goals-decomposing factors-refining indicators”,the key indicators of sustainable manufacturing capability for machining equipment is determined firstly.Then the elements of KPIs are analyzed and the unified description model is established.The hierarchy indicators which reflect the sustainable manufacturing capability of processing equipment is determined ultimately.(2)For the dynamics of the manufacturing system,as well as the changes of equipment manufacturing capability in time dimension,the traditional grey correlation decision method is extended to the dynamic decision-making problems.A dynamic grey correlation decision method based on time sequence and combination weights is prospered.Based on the objective time-series data,the prospered method apply entropy method to modify the subjective weight obtained by AHP.Then the time factor is introduced to weight different period data.So the dynamic comprehensive capability index of equipment is obtained by grey correlation degree.The proposed method is proved to be effective and superior through the case study.(3)For the equipment selection of the part feature processing in a job shop,applying the prospered dynamic assessment framework and method,a task oriented prototype system based on Java Web is designed and implemented to assess the sustainable manufacturing capability of processing equipment.The system covers the whole assessment procedure including manufacturing task ordering,manufacturing task matching,KPIs assessment,comprehensive manufacturing capability assessment and equipment recommendation.Thus the problem of selecting the optimal processing equipment is solved.
