In today's world,global resources are increasingly in short supply.It is more and more important to save energy and improve the efficiency of energy use.Building energy consumption is an important part of total energy consumption.The construction volume of office buildings in cold regions of China is large,there are great differences in indoor and outdoor thermal environments,the climate is harsh,and the consumption level of building energy is generally high,which has great potential for energy conservation.Due to the flaws in the traditional architectural design process,the architects lack direct reference to the energy consumption.They often use experience as the energy conservation design basis.After the completion of the project,the energy consumption simulation is performed,making the building design use the old-fashioned way to make up for the defects.Methods lead to unnecessary waste of resources and energy.Energy-saving design of office buildings cannot be implemented.Therefore,the research aims to propose a multi-tiered office building design process in the severe cold area with energy saving as the goal,so as to effectively improve the energy-saving design efficiency of office buildings in severe cold regions and enhance the energy-saving design potential of office buildings in cold regions at the stage of architectural design.Through a questionnaire survey of 70 architects who participated in the design of office buildings in severe cold regions,the existing energy design flaws in the traditional design process and the direction to be improved were analyzed.The climatic characteristics and regional characteristics of severe cold regions were summarized,and the energy-saving design of multi-story office buildings in severe cold regions was analyzed.The influencing factors in the process and the energy consumptioncharacteristics of office buildings.Select Harbin,the representative city of Harbin,to conduct on-the-spot investigations,summarize the spatial characteristics and morphological characteristics of the office building design in the severe cold region,and establish the typical model data group for multi-storey office buildings in severe cold regions.It is proposed that the design process of office buildings in cold regions with energy saving as the goal is divided into 5 steps: body type determination and energy consumption simulation,site design and energy consumption simulation,function placement and energy consumption simulation,space design and energy consumption simulation and thermal engineering Design and energy simulation.At each design stage,Energy Plus and Revit software were used for simulation optimization and comparison,and morphological analysis was used to select the scheme with the lowest energy consumption.Selecting a typical multi-story office building in severe cold area,under the same conditions,a new scheme is designed using the energy-saving goal-oriented multi-story office building design process in the severe cold region,and the original program uses Energy Plus software to simulate and analyze the energy consumption value..It is concluded that the energy consumption-oriented life-cycle electricity consumption is only 49.1% of the original plan,the life cycle energy consumption is only 53.8% of the original plan,and the life cycle energy consumption is reduced by 54,018,212 MJ,which is only the original plan.53.9%.Life cycle energy costs are reduced by $715,118.It can be seen that the energy-saving goal-oriented multi-story office building design process in severe cold regions has an important impact on the control of energy consumption in office buildings in cold regions.The proposal of designing a multi-story office building in a severely cold area with energy conservation as its goal can provide necessary support for energy-saving design in severe cold regions and enable architects to effectively control building energy consumption at each stage of the building design process.In the design can quickly determine the energy efficiency of multi-story office buildings in cold places and timely modify the morphological design data,in order to get the best energy-saving design program,to provide reference for energy-saving design of office buildings in the severe cold regions in the future.
