Research On Space Design Of Mutual-aid Endowment Facilities For The Elderly In Northern Rural Areas

With the aging process deepening,our country’s current rural endowment situation,which due to large populations,broad areas,impact by the traditional concepts,uneven economic development levels,is complex and has been in a conservative pension state for a long while,which shows the strong dependence on family relations and land,and the construction and research of endowment facilities is still at the preliminary stage.Meanwhile,with the advance of economic development and urban integration,a large number of young rural labors flow to cities,which rolls out empty-nest elderly in large numbers.These empty-nest elderly acquire limited endowment resources,with loneliness and place attachment,and the traditional family pension and institution pension were unable to adapt to the needs of the rural empty-nest elderly,which has aroused wide concern and should be solved immediately.Therefore,based on the rural elderly life status,and in order to better meet the actual needs of the rural elderly people,this thesis discusses a new of collective pension mode--rural mutual aid endowment,and discusses the interior and outdoor behavior needs of interaction demands,then do research for northern rural mutual-aid elderly facilities space design,which provides design reference for building suitable rural collective pension space.This thesis sets northern rural mutual-aid pension facilities space design research as research subject,considering the knowledge of architecture,psychology,phenomenology,ergonomics,and make further research by means of questionnaires,interviews,literature surveys,and statistics method.First,on the basis of a large related of research reading,this thesis draws on the experience in the design of space design from foreign elderly Cohousing facilities;theoretical basis,influencing factors and operation mechanism of rural mutual-aid endowment facilities are summarized;based on the rural village environment in the north of China,this thesis analyzes the related characteristics of rural mutual-aid endowment facilities;then sublimates out the core issues to build the mutual-aid endowment system in the rural areas of China.Second,through field research on the existing northern rural mutual-aid pension facilities,this thesis analyzes the existing problems of northern area existing rural mutual-aid pension facilities.Meanwhile,through the questionnaires,this thesis analyzes the physiological features,psychological features,behavior features,and interpersonal interaction features of northern area rural elderly,and learns the requirements of elderly mutual-aid and interaction space.Finally,above all,this thesis discusses the composition and organization of the function and the space layout;proposes different function space design strategies for rural mutual-aid pension facilities,and then explores further for its mutual space value enhancement.The topic of this paper closely links to social status,meets the social development needs,and the research covers widely,which provide strong practical bases,hoping to give some impetus to the development of facilities for the elderly in rural areas.
