| With the development and progress of society,the importance of Landscape Architecture to build a good living environment is increasingly apparent.Under the joint efforts of many parties,landscape architecture eventually become a First Level Discipline,which is not unrelated with many experts and scholars struggling to help.Mr.Yu Shuxun has returned to China in the early 1950s and has been committed to the cause of Landscape Architecture in China until he died in 2013.His research and design involves many areas of Landscape Architecture,which is professional and leaving a wealth of results.Mr.Yu exhausted his life for the cause of China's landscape Architecture,and this process is equivalent to the development of China's modern Landscape Architecture twists and turns track.It is especially necessary to research,analysis and summary the development process of China's modern landscape Architecture from the perspective of the study of characters,which is conducive to build and perfect the landscape system.Based on his own rich horticulture and gardening background,as well as the rich experience of study research and working chronically in the botanical garden,Mr.Yu Shuxun has many pioneering move in research and design,and it is very far-sighted,also is highly anticipated and respected in academia,including garden engineering,garden culture,garden aesthetics,garden art,Landscape Architecture education,editor of the journal,landscape planning and design and so on.Based on the literature materials of Landscape Architecture and related works,such as papers and letters published by Mr.Yu Shuxun at home and abroad,including teaching practice,as well as the case of his planning and design of the garden,and this study divides it into six aspects:garden planning and design,garden theory and history,garden plants and its application,garden aesthetics and art,Landscape Architecture education and popularization,Landscape Architecture dynamics and development,to discuss the complex content of research and design of Mr.Yu Shuxun.Regarded the change of time as the line of research,this study will explain the corrslations and differences of Mr.Yu Shuxun' research in different period,and observe the development prosess of modern Landscape Architecture in China.This paper also focuses on the ideological and dynamic characteristics of Mr.Yu Shuxun in the research and practice of Landscape Architecture,and tokes an important comprehensive academic work as an example to interpret the social background and real intention of Yu's research and practice,also tries to re-examine the significance of his research results in the context of the new era.Based on the research and analysis of Yu Shuxun's research on landscape architecture,first of all,this paper clarifies the important historical position of Yu Shuxun in the research of Landscape Architecture,and highlights his far-reaching research achievements and contributions.Secondly,it combs the nodes of Yu Shuxun's Landscape Architecture research and reveals the influence of the times,and emphasizes the guiding significance of its research on the practice of Landscape Architecture.Thirdly,it summarizes the process of academic research of Landscape Architecture,shows Yu's promotion to popular science work in this discipline,and he improves the aesthetic taste of people.Finally,this paper summarizes the characteristics of Yu's academic theory in the construction of modern Landscape Architecture,and reflects his important role in beautifying the urban environment and promoting the sustainable development of natural ecology. |
