The development of Building Information Modeling(BIM)technology has been widely recognized and brought another technological revolution to the construction industry.More and more construction projects and construction enterprises promote the application of BIM technology.Among them,municipal traffic engineering,as an important part of urban construction,has great potential for BIM application.However,at the same time,inevitably,there are many risk factors about BIM technical problems,management experience and industrial environment,which hinder the development of BIM application in municipal traffic engineering and directly affect the BIM application effect of construction projects,reduce the BIM application value.Compared with other construction projects,the objectives and key participants of whole life cycle of municipal transport engineering are different,the application of BIM technology also has its own characteristics.Firstly,based on the analysis of the characteristics of municipal traffic engineering,combined with the application status of BIM technology in construction projects,this paper analyzed the connotation,characteristics and difficulties of BIM application risk of municipal traffic engineering.According to the theory of risk management Process,identified the risk identification and evaluation methods.Secondly,paper used the literature research method to analyze and summarize 26 literatures,initially obtained 35 risk factors,and used the expert investigation method to get a list of risk factors including 23 major risk factors,and divide them into 5 category,established the construction of municipal traffic engineering BIM technology risk assessment index system.Thirdly,the extrinsic element model is constructed by combining analytic hierarchy process and entropy method,and using the subjective and objective comprehensive weighting method to give the weight of each evaluation index,so as to determine the risk level and make a comprehensive evaluation of the system.Finally,combined with a municipal traffic engineering empirical research,rating the combined impact of each risk factor,and provide advice for the key risk factors based on the characteristics of municipal traffic engineering,so as to control the risk of BIM application more effectively,guarantee the effect of BIM application and promote the rational application and promotion of BIM technology of municipal traffic engineering.
