| As early as the last century,"industrial design" has been an important part of many counties' development strategy,the Government develop the design to enhance the national soft power,while promoting economic growth.China is also one of them,but in the current situation in art colleges,the number of students increasing dramatically,the quality of industrial design education faced the "crazy" drifting away.Design colleges have already formed "Easy Graduate" title.Every time the industry and technological revolution will bring about great changes in the mode of social production and communication,and this invariant logic in turn affects the direction of history.For these days,China is adjusting the economic structure and economic growth,people need to be aware of the "opportunities" and "challenges",realizing how the government,schools,educators and students should to make changes.This paper is a comparative study of industrial design education in China and Australia.First of all,the author took the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Wuhan University of Technology as samples to start the topic.First,it compared the development background of the two universities and the outline of the industrial design education of graduate students,then compared the teaching system of the two universities from the teaching idea and training plan,teaching mode And the teaching methods,teaching process,resource allocation and other aspects of analyzing of the two universities of graduate education between the similarity and differences,and excavated of the reasons in-depth.Finally,the author explored the similarities and differences between Chinese and Australia postgraduate education environment,the teaching modes and the methods,the design school and the major,the graduate teaching and learning,so as to provide reference and research direction to Wuhan University of Technology and other universities in China for developing their industrial design education. |
