With the rapid development of the automobile industry,the demand for automobile seat belts is also increasing.The automobile seat belt market layout has basically taken shape,with joint venture seat belt enterprises accounting for more than 80% of the market share,while domestic seat belt enterprises have less than 20% market share.At present,there are more than 100 manufacturers of seat belts in China,and the number of seat belt enterprises is still increasing.The market competition for seat belts has become fierce.After the release of C-NCAP in 2015,all the main engine manufacturers required to be equipped with the pre-tightened force belt in the new vehicle development.In order to break through the new market to obtain higher profits,the automobile safety equipment factory has designed and developed a pre-tightening-force type safety belt.In this paper,the assembly process of the product is analyzed,and the assembly relationship and assembly sequence of the components are determined.The FMEA tool was used to analyze the potential failure modes in each process,the control points of each assembly process were determined,and the potential failure modes were prevented in advance.According to the control elements,the equipment requirements of each process are determined,and the assembly line layout of the safety belt is determined according to the product principles.The key equipment of spring winding and testing in the product assembly process is designed.Design the time of each step in the process to ensure that the assembly time of the process is in line with production time requirements.Calculate the required parameters of cylinders and motors according to product requirements to determine the model and ensure that assembly line equipment meets product assembly requirements.The Pro Model software was used to Model the assembly line process of the pre-tightening force belt assembly line.After collecting relevant data,parameters of all stations were input and simulated analysis was conducted.Aiming at the bottleneck process and assembly line balance problem found in the simulation,the assembly line of the belt was balanced and optimized by adjusting the integrated assembly process.Compared with the initial design,3 workstations and 3 workers were reduced,and the assembly line balance rate was increased by 16%,reducing the production cost.The company established the assembly line according to the scheme after simulation optimization.The operation data of the assembly line were calculated and the simulation results were verified.This study provides a reference for the application of simulation tools in the company’s future assembly line design.
