Refined Management Study On Construction Cost

With the perfection of the economy in our market,economic and social environment facing construction companies is changing drastically.Drawbacks of traditional cost management idea and methods are more and more obvious,unable to satisfy the need of cost and management decision of construction companies.In order to survive the fierce competition,construction companies are in urgent need of a new way to decrease the cost.It is necessary for construction companies to transform their traditional "extensive" management model into the"intensive and refined" modern management model,or else,it will face survival crisis.There are problems like chaotic management,backward management mode and imperfect management system in the traditional extensive management model,which directly lead to the cost increase in construction companies,as well as the decrease in profits,putting them in a disadvantaged position in industry competition.Only when the backward management model is altered,refined management is adopted,refined management idea is applied into the cost control of construction projects will it be possible to reduce unnecessary consumption,save the cost and increase the economic profits of construction companies.This paper mainly focuses on the application of refined management idea into the cost management of construction projects for cost reduction.Firstly,it generalizes the current study situation of refined management at home and abroad through large amount of literature review at home and abroad to introduce the major study contents and ideas of this paper;it further starts from basic theories of refined management and construction project cost management,and concludes several different definitions,characteristics,principles and functions of refined management,as well as the basic theoretical knowledge like the concept,components and categories of construction project cost and so on.It analyzes the current situation of cost management for construction projects from personnel organization,material use,construction and management;next,it adds a forth dimension to Hall's three-dimension structure,time,logic and knowledge dimensions,which is mainly defined as the management targets and policies of construction project and management idea of the company.These four dimensions forms the refined management system of project construction cost.At last,it evaluates refined management system in actual projects and the implementation effects of refined management measures in construction cost management through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Study on applications of refined management in project cost management allows the construction companies to better apply refined management mode,increase management level and control the cost.It also provides references for the refined management application in the future,offers new ideas to solve the cost management problems of construction companies in our country and enhance cost management of construction companies.
