The Yangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is a special linear cultural heritage material carrier that integrates cultural landscape heritage and natural landscape heritage. The urban development of Yangzhou is accompanied by the prosperity and evolution of the canal, with a long history and rich heritage resources. This paper selects the Yangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal as the object to construct the canal heritage corridor. The Canal Heritage Corridor in the Yangzhou Section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is a complex system with diverse functions and forms that integrates the Yangzhou Section of the Canal as the main heritage resource and integrates various cultural heritages and natural environments around it.This paper first summarizes the ideas and practices of canal heritage corridor protection by referring to literature and case analysis in China and abroad, and conducts the relevant concepts, types, characteristics, constituent elements of the canal heritage corridor, and the value composition and evaluation methods of heritage corridor resources the study.Secondly,to sort out the historical hydrological changes of the Yangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the overview of the areas along it,referring to the relevant heritage corridor resource classification standards, the canal heritage corridor resources within the scope of the study can be divided into the canal water conservancy engineering heritage and the four major categories including canal water conservancy project heritage and associated historical relics closely related to the canal, the environmental landscapes and canal intangible cultural heritage.Conduct a census of canal corridor resources within the scope of the study, and conduct value composition analysis and value assessment.Secondly, based on the analytic hierarchy process and the application of yaahp to build a canal heritage corridor resource evaluation system of the Yangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and evaluate the canal heritage resources within the scope of the study, and obtain the canal heritage corridor resource evaluation and grading of the Yangzhou Section of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.Using Arc GIS 10.3 to analyze the spatial distribution of the canal material cultural heritage resources in the Yangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and obtain the spatial distribution characteristics of the canal material cultural heritage resources.Accordingly, the scope and level of the canal heritage corridor of the Yangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal were determined. Finally, based on the above research, carry out the canal heritage corridor planning of the Yangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and select the Zhuyuwan Canal Park in the key area fordetailed design.Protect and continue the regional historical culture in the planning of the canal heritage corridor, preserve the canal heritage resources, construct a multi-functional canal heritage corridor based on the blue-green network, which connect the heritage resources, activate the canal context, and give full play to the historical and cultural advantages of canal heritage corridor. While taking advantage of the historical and cultural advantages of corridors, the construction of urban green corridors and slow-moving systems is realized. Then select the key area Zhuyuwan Canal Park for detailed design with the goals of shaping a continuous and dynamic water bank, creating an ecological canal corridor, and continuing the traditional style of the sluice area,The design of the park building a riverside green bank to integrate traditional old streets, and integrating ecological vitality into the ancient gate context of Zhuyuwan Canal Park.
