Factors Influencing The Community Stakeholders’ Satisfaction In The International Project Management In Pakistan

In today’s modern time,the world needs development and every nation want to develop,so all the mega projects are needed to be done smoothly,especially construction projects,in all mega construction projects have many issues to solve it before and during the project.There are plenty of project stakeholders that they may create those problems,in this paper the author focused on the local community stakeholders,the community stakeholders or local residents are the backbone of the project life cycle and may lead the project to the success,failure or may delay or stop and cause huge cost for the organization,these local people have some expectations from the concerned project to meet,and those expectations are also the social responsibilities of project management organization,so in the international project management,the management team must take them into consideration as mentioned in the context of previous research but needed to clarify this issue more specifically in the specific project.Applying some analysis,this study finds the satisfaction level of the local community with SukiKinari Hydropower Project which is a construction project in Naran,kagan,Kpk,Pakistan.A questionnaire with the general information of respondents and some satisfied factors which are the most important factors according to that concern project was made,then onthat questionnaire,I applied reliability test from which I got Cronbach’s Alpha(0.822)with item deleted and some valuable suggestions from the peer’s researchers.After edited the questionnaire total 200 questionnaires were sent to the educated respondents which were the targeted population of the research for collecting the data about the ongoing project and I received 155 questionnaires back with no invalid questionnaire.According to the standard rate of Mean intervals and the Chi-Square,I applied for finding out the overall satisfaction of the respondents with chosen factors,in the gender male respondents 123(87.9%)and female respondents 14(93.3%)are satisfied from the project and so on.The study concluded that the level of satisfaction is quite high with the ongoing project.Sample T-test and ANOVA were applied for finding the significant level among the item of factors individually.According to the Sample T-test LF1,BMF2,CF2,SRF1 &2 are significantly different in term of gender.While according to the ANOVA many items of the factors have a significant difference in term of age,education and distance.It means that the SukiKinari Hydropower Project(SKHP)’s community stakeholders in different age group,education level and distance from the construction site have a different level of satisfaction.
