Research On Evaluation Of International Competitiveness Of Engineering Construction Enterprises

With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization,Chinese enterprises have gradually moved to the world and participated in the competition of the international market.The international market is increasingly fierce,and the global value chain division of labor is further deepened.Chinese companies must have their own competitive advantages and must have core technologies in order to gain a foothold in the international arena.In addition,the domestic environment has created a good opportunity for enterprises to "go out".Under the background of the domestic economy entering a new normal,economic growth has been driven by the previous factors and resources to the current innovation drive.The state attaches great importance to technological progress and has given a large number of enterprises.Policy Support.Under the background of external competition pressure and domestic policy support,the technical level of China’s engineering construction enterprises has continuously improved,and even some technologies have been at the forefront of the world.In the context of the new era,it is particularly important to study the international competitiveness of Chinese engineering construction enterprises,analyze the factors and mechanism of the international competitiveness of engineering construction enterprises,and find out the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese engineering construction enterprises in the current international competition..The research results can provide evaluation information and policy recommendations for enterprise managers,and can provide corresponding guidance for the further development of engineering construction enterprises.Based on the theory of international competitiveness,this paper analyzes the influencing factors and mechanism of international competitiveness of engineering construction enterprises,constructs the formation mechanism and logic model of international competitiveness of engineering construction enterprises,and further analyzes the technological progress and management innovation of engineering construction enterprises.And the mechanism of mergers and acquisitions of enterprises to the ability of enterprises and the international competitiveness of enterprises.The company has established an evaluation index system for international competitiveness of enterprises,and empirically analyzed eight international engineering construction enterprises involved in the railway field:China Railway Construction,Germany Hochtief,France Wanxi Group,Spain ACS Construction Company,Japan Kashima Construction Co.,Ltd.,Bouygues,France,Dacheng Construction Group and China Railway Group’s international competitiveness.Using factor analysis and principal component analysis,the rankings of the international competitiveness of enterprises and the changes of relevant index data during the eight-year period from 2008 to 2016 were calculated and compared.The general law was drawn through the trend of change,and the engineering construction enterprises in China were mainly investigated.——The advantages and disadvantages of China Railway Construction and China Railway Group in terms of international competitiveness,and carried out relevant reasons analysis and proposed relevant rationalization suggestions for the problems.Through the above research,the paper draws the following conclusions:(1)There are three main factors affecting the international competitiveness of engineering construction enterprises:technological progress,management innovation and mergers and acquisitions.The impact of these three factors on engineering construction enterprises is not the same.The most influential factor is mergers and acquisitions,the contribution ratio reached 21.21%,followed by management innovation and technological progress,and the contribution ratios were 19.43%and 16.93%,respectively.(2)The mechanism of technological progress,management innovation and mergers and acquisitions between enterprises to the international competitiveness of engineering construction enterprises is mainly realized through the variable of enterprise capability,that is,the ability of enterprises to play a related role and mediating role.(3)Through the research on the international competitiveness of engineering construction enterprises in the railway field,it is found that the gap between the international competitiveness levels of enterprises has gradually widened,and the gap between enterprises has become more and more large,and the international competitiveness of enterprises is polarized.The direction of development.(4)Once the international competitiveness of engineering construction enterprises is difficult to change,it has relative stability unless the enterprise has obvious technological progress or management innovation.(5)From 2008 to 2016,China’s engineering and construction enterprises-China Railway Construction and China Railway Group,their international competitiveness increased from the 7th and 3rd in 2008 to the 4th and 2nd in 2016 respectively.The improvement of the international competitiveness of enterprises is mainly based on the advancement of technological capabilities.(6)In the eight years of growth and development of Chinese engineering and construction enterprises,profitability and market capacity have always been their advantages.The technical ability has been significantly improved after eight years of accumulation,and the internationalization level has been in these eight years.It has been developed,but it is still a shortcoming and needs to be improved.
