Research On The Competitiveness Of Chinese International Engineering Contracting Enterprises

In the context of the integrated development of the global economy,Chinese international engineering contracting companies have accelerated their pace of entering the international market.In the fierce competition,how can my country’s international engineering contracting companies survive and develop and become a world-class contracting company is worth thinking about.This paper starts research from two perspectives of competitiveness calculation,evaluation and analysis,and the correlation between enterprise’s own capability factors and competitiveness,in order to provide a certain reference for my country’s international engineering contracting enterprises to enhance their competitiveness.This article expounds the concepts of international engineering projects and international engineering contracting enterprises,combing related basic theories,and summarizing the foreign and domestic research status of corporate competitiveness and the competitiveness of international engineering contracting enterprises.Analyzed the development history and development status of my country’s international engineering contracting enterprises,and established the corresponding influencing factor system according to the formation mechanism of their competitiveness.On this basis,a dynamic evaluation model based on TOPSIS method and gray correlation degree was constructed to compare my country’s typical The competitiveness of international engineering contracting enterprises is measured and evaluated,and the panel model is used to regression analysis of the relationship between the capability factors and competitiveness of my country’s international engineering contracting enterprises,and countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of China’s international engineering contracting enterprises are put forward.The main contents are as follows:(1)Established a system of influencing factors for the competitiveness of my country’s international engineering contracting companies,which specifically includes four factors based on the level of business results,including the degree of internationalization,international market share,market sustainability,and profitability,including technical factors,innovation factors,and operational factors.,Scale factor,financing factor,human factor six factors based on the level of corporate capabilities.(2)According to the dynamic evaluation model based on the TOPSIS method and the gray correlation degree,the competitiveness of my country’s international engineering contracting enterprises is measured,evaluated and analyzed.The results show that: the competitiveness gap between various companies is obvious;from the overall point of view,the overall competitiveness in 2018 is significantly lower than in 2017,and is similar to 2016,and some companies are even lower than in 2016.From the perspective of development trends,In the future,the overall competitiveness may still be lower than in 2017,which means that the competitiveness will decline in a short period of time.(3)An empirical analysis of the relationship between the capability factors and competitiveness of my country’s international engineering contracting companies,the results show that: technical capabilities,innovation capabilities,financing capabilities,and human capabilities are the key capabilities that my country’s international engineering contracting companies need to possess;technical capabilities,Innovation ability and competitiveness are positively correlated;financing ability and competitiveness are in an inverted U-shaped relationship;human capacity and competitiveness are in a positive U-shaped relationship.(4)According to the research results,it puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of my country’s international engineering contracting enterprises from five aspects: optimizing overseas business systems,improving technical capabilities,strengthening innovation capabilities,optimizing financing structures,and improving the quality of talents.
