Research On Parking Planning And Management In The Urban Aarea Of Lin’an

With the rapid development of the economy of Lin’an District,the traffic travel of people becomes more frequent,and the number of urban motor vehicles increases rapidly due to the increase of urban population and the improvement of people’s living standard.As of 2017,the number of registered cars in Lin’an District was about 77100,with at least 30,000 vehicles in the urban area.However,the construction speed of parking facilities in Lin’an District is far less than the growth rate of vehicles,the parking service is lagging behind.As a result,the contradiction of parking supply and demand is becoming more and more prominent,which has a negative impact on the level of transportation services and the comfort of residents in Lin’an District.In this paper,it takes the urban area of Lin’an as the main research area,which analyzes and forecasts the parking situation in the city by using the comprehensive growth rate prediction method combined with relevant factors such as population size and car ownership,and finally finds that the parking supply and demand in Lin’an city are out of balance,leading to a large supply pressure in the future.Secondly,in the form of questionnaire survey,from the system benefit,social benefit and economic benefit are the research direction of city people’s attention in the parking lot,through data analysis found that residents of Lin’an city parking status evaluation level as the "general",basic meet the economic,the requirements of the system,the social benefits,in Lin’an city parking lot need to optimize the planning and management.According to the above analysis,there are four problems in the planning and management of parking lots in the urban area of Lin’an,such as the shortage of parking berths,the uneven distribution of public parking lots,the low satisfaction of citizens towards the service,and the confusion for the collection and management of parking fees.At the same time,it summarizes the reasons for the four problems,such as the lags in urban planning and construction,the lack of unified parking planning,the need to standardize the parking management,and the lack of standards for parking fees.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the planning and management of parking lot in the urban area of Lin’an from the following four aspects such as attaching importance to the construction of urban parking lots,improving the scientific layout of parking lot planning,improving the level of parking lot management and service,and perfecting the parking fee management system.In this paper,it makes the study of the parking lot from the comprehensive perspectives of demand and supply,planning and management,which has a certain significance to theoretical innovation.
