| In recent years,in order to achieve the goals of reducing emissions and being environmentally-friendly,the automobile industry has steadily moved towards as a national pillar industry.At the same time,the development of new energy vehicles has driven the prosperity of its upstream and downstream industries.As one of the key components of new energy vehicles,the power battery not only occupies one-third of the manufacturing cost of the whole vehicle,but also relates to the safety and energy efficiency of new energy vehicles.In the past ten years,stimulated by the market demand in the downstream application field of the industrial chain,the scale of the new energy vehicle power battery industry has been increasing,and the battery core manufacturing technology has made certain research progress.In addition,the battery companies have formed large-scale enterprise agglomeration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions,but the development of China’s power battery industry is uneven,and there are big differences in various regions.Therefore,clarifying the development status of the core battery enterprise cluster area can effectively grasp the overall industry and provides a certain reference value for the mature development of the industry.This paper firstly presents the current situation of the power battery industry from the perspective of industrial development,and specifically expounds the market performance,industrial policy,industrial chain and industrial patent technology development.China’s power battery industry has a bright market prospect.The industrial policies formulated to stimulate market vitality are diverse and the policy system is relatively complete.Inspired by the role of the market and policies,the development of the industrial chain has gradually matured.The supporting role of the main players in the middle and lower reaches has driven the rapid growth of the new energy vehicle power battery industry.Since technological innovation is the core of the healthy development of the industry,this paper interprets the current state of technological development from the perspective of technology patents.On this basis,this paper builds a power battery industry competitiveness evaluation system based on the diamond model as the basic theoretical model.The index evaluation system includes five first-level indicators,eleven second-level indicators and twenty-two third-level indicators.By collecting data on the power battery industry of new energy vehicles in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions,the competitiveness of the industry in the three major urban agglomerations was compared based on the evaluation system and the entropy method.Through the comparative interpretation of the three major urban agglomerations,in the ranking of the competitiveness of the power battery industry,the Yangtze River Delta ranked first,the Pearl River Delta ranked second,and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei ranked third.The relative balance of various influencing factors and the concentration of related industries have promoted the rapid development of the power battery industry in the Yangtze River Delta region.The cooperation trend of the power battery industry alliance in the Pearl River Delta region is obvious,but its development is constrained by its inferior technological innovation capability,the strength lies in the innovation output and the strength of regional R&D mainly in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Finally,based on the comparative analysis of the competitiveness of the three major urban agglomerations,this paper proposes relevant suggestions for improving the industrial development level of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions. |
