The Comparisons Of The New Energy Vehicle Industry Competitive Power Between China And The United States

In recent years,the contradictions between environmental protection and the development of the automobile industry has become increasingly prominent.Many governments believe that new energy vehicles are the optimal solution to the above contradictions.The United States,Japan,EU have raised the development of new energy automobile industry to the height of national strategy,and successively issued a series of policies to support the technology research and development and marketing of the new energy automobile industry.China has also clearly listed the new energy automobile industry as one of the ten key development industries of "Made in China 2025",with a view to realizing the "curve overtaking" of China's automobile manufacturing industry by relying on technological innovation in the field of new energy vehicles.Although China is the largest new energy vehicle market now,there is still a certain gap in the supporting infrastructure construction and innovation capabilities,compared with developed countries.Through the extension of Porter's diamond model theory,this paper analyze the new energy auto industry from the aspects of production factors,demand conditions,related and supporting industries,corporate competitive strategies,knowledge absorption and innovation capabilities,policy support and development opportunities.This paper has analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of China's new energy automobile industry by comparing with the USA,and there are some supporting advice and strategies for enhancing the new energy auto industrial competitiveness.Firstly,this paper compares the new energy automobile market,policy and related industries between China and the United States.In the aspect of new energy vehicles production,,China and the United States The country has a relatively rich natural resource,and the natural resource endowment will not limit the development of the new energy automobile industry in the short term.In terms of capital elements,by comparing the financial environment between China and the United States,it is found that the US new energy automobile industry has a more developed financial background support.In addition,the United States has a more obvious competitive advantage in the aspect of advanced production factors.In terms of related and supporting industries,the number of China's private charging infrastructure is still relatively low due to the high population density,but China has more public charging facilities.In addition,in the core areas of the development of new energy vehicles such as batteries,motors and electronic controls,China is narrowing the gap between the developed countries.China has better policies in the area of the new energy automobile industry,but China should carry out more new policy to help the new energy auto industry avoid risk in the post-subsidy era.Secondly,this paper has compared the performance of Tesla and BYD in the strategy and innovation ability.Both of companies can accurately find their market positions and adopt suitable competitive strategies in different environments.Finally,combining the results of comparison,this paper provide some advice and strategies for improving China's new energy auto industrial competitiveness from various aspects,such as industrial structure,technological innovation,business model innovation,supporting infrastructure construction,personnel training and internationalization strategy.
