Research On The Protection And Renewal Of The Historical And Cultural Streets Of The Kuanchengzi Station In The Middle East Railway

The Kuanchengzi historical and cultural block of the Middle East Railway Station is one of the six characteristic historical blocks in Changchun,which truly records the history of Russian invasion of Northeast China,witnesses the development of modern industrial civilization in Changchun,displays the patriotic culture and the revolutionary spirit of the Party,and has precious historical and cultural value.For a variety of reasons,the neighborhood is in decline.With the rapid urban construction in Changchun,the protection and renewal of this block is extremely urgent.This paper argues that on the basis of the overall protection of the block,excavate and use the historical,cultural and material fragments of the block,update the block's business structure and guide the construction of the block,while ensuring the continuity of historical context,to meet the development of modern society.This paper takes the historical and cultural block of Kuanchengzi station as the research object.Firstly,through the research and analysis of the theories and relevant cases of the conservation and renewal of historical and cultural block at home and abroad,it guides the investigation and research of the conservation and renewal of block from the three aspects of integrity,hierarchy and development.Secondly,this paper combs the historical evolution of the East China Railway and Kuanchengzi station blocks,analyzes the location conditions,architecture,spatial pattern,spatial environment and cultural elements of the blocks,finds out the problems and contradictions of the blocks,studies the historical and cultural information and historical material fragments of the blocks,and provides the basis for the follow-up paper.Finally,combined with the relevant theory,case and block status,this paper putsforward the strategies of block protection and renewal from four aspects: improving the spatial pattern,protecting buildings at different levels,upgrading the space environment,protecting indigenous residents,and developing cultural resources,to guide the design of block protection and renewal.Through the study of the conservation and renewal of historical and cultural blocks,we hope to improve our awareness of conservation,make rational use of historical and cultural resources,andretain the historical intention and memory of the block,so that the block can be better developed.
