Analysis On The Space Of Characteristic Towns By The Space Syntax And The POI Data

In recent years,the construction speed of small towns with characteristics in China and problems long with it become more and more serious,which reduces its popularity.Currently,most of studies by domestic scholars focus on the concept definition,development path,case analysis,evaluation system and other aspects of towns with characteristics,but few studies on the spatial form and this paper attempts to explore the spatial form characteristics and problems of typical towns with characteristics in Hangzhou from the perspective of spatial form.The arrival of the new data era has brought opportunities for urban space research and great changes to the quantitative urban research.This paper carries out the visual mutual verification analysis and research based on the spatial syntax theory and combined with the pedestrian flow data of Gaode POI and Tencent Yichuxing.Research methods for spatial form of small towns with characteristics were built by choosing three typical small towns with characteristics in Hangzhou were selected as the research object to divide space of small towns with characteristics into three sections of industry,culture and tourism and residence and analyze the overall space form and the spatial distribution characteristics,which explores methods for rational layout and realizing efficient use of each function area of small towns with characteristics.It is found that the main functional areas of Cloud town,Yuhuang shannan fund town and Dream town are reasonably distributed;The industrial spatial section and residential spatial section of small towns with characteristics occupy the core location in the overall space;The spatial distribution of characteristic industries in Cloud town and Dream town is reasonable while the spatial distribution of characteristic industries in Yuhuang shannan fund town is unreasonable;The spatial section of culture and tourism of Cloud Town and Dream town was set up by mainly relying on its industrial space and its reasonable layout in the space of characteristic industries promotes the development of culture and tourism industry,while the spatial section of culture and tourism of Yuhuang shannan town was set up by mainly relying on its original tourism resources and its spatial distribution position of characteristic industry is unreasonable,which further influences its development of culture and tourism;The population agglomeration in small towns with characteristics is seriously affected by the format of business to some extent.Cloud town and Yuhuang shannan fund town present a multi-axis spatial structure,which is unfavorable for gathering flow of people,while Dream town presents a single-axis spatial structure,which is favorable for gathering the flow of people;The spatial pattern of "small block" is more conducive to the gathering flow of people in functional areas of small towns with characteristics;This study further confirms that spatial syntax and big data can promote and verify each other.It is the only way for its development to realize the reasonable layout of various functional areas in small towns with characteristics with limited actual space.It is an effective path to promote the development of small towns with characteristics by building tourism space section on the basis of industrial space section to increase the degree of tourism of small towns and realize "small space big aggregation".
