Research On The Role Of Port Economy In Yibin Regional Economic Development

The relationship between port economy and regional economic development is an extension of the relationship between port and city.The port economy has always played a great role in promoting the development of regional economy.The development level of port economy directly affects the development of port city economy,and the enrichment degree of production factors in port city also affects the development of port economy,which has the characteristics of mutual benefit,mutual progress and coordinated development.Ports have the functions of shipping and opening to the outside world,which will stimulate the development of port logistics,attract foreign investment,guide the agglomeration and development of related industries,and ultimately promote the development of port economy,the upgrading of regional industrial structure,the expansion of port region,the expansion of city scale and the rise of GDP.In the process of promoting regional economic development,port economy is at the center of regional economic growth.Ports,through their radiation-driven role,transfer the power of economic growth to the surrounding areas,so that the whole region can develop jointly.After the development of port cities,they will invest heavily in port construction,promote the development of port logistics and industry,further promote the development of port economy,and take port economy as the driving force of urban economic growth.At present,in order to achieve regional economic integration and frequent economic and trade exchanges among regions,ports have become the media of economic and trade exchanges among regions,and port economy has emerged as the times require,and has become the engine of promoting regional economic development.Therefore,it is necessary to study the relationship between port economy and regional economic development and scientifically evaluate the contribution of port economy in regional economic development.Yibin should attach importance to the relationship between port economy and regional economic development,and take the development of port economy as the first priority to drive the rapid growth of Yibin regional economy,making it another growth point of Yibin regional economic development.This paper mainly takes Yibin Port and Yibin region as the research object,starting from the actual situation of Yibin Port economy and regional economic development,focusing on the analysis of the status and role of port economy in Yibin regional economic development.Using the method of longitudinal comparative analysis,the input-output index data of Yibin Port and Yibin City from 2009 to 2017 were collected,and the DEA evaluation model was established.The effectiveness of input-output of Yibin Port and Yibin City was analyzed by using DEAP2.1 software.The results show that in recent years,Yibin Port has played a significant role in promoting the development of urban economy,while Yibin City has not played a significant role in promoting the development and construction of Yibin Port,and there are redundant inputs,insufficient outputs and diminishing returns to scale in Yibin City.Therefore,the investment intensity of various sectors of the city should be adjusted appropriately.Based on the above analysis,this paper uses SPSS statistical software to quantitatively analyze the relationship between port economy and Yibin regional economic development,and establishes econometric model on the premise that they have positive correlation.The results show that there is a linear relationship between them.The relationship between port economy and Yibin regional economy is about 1:0.063 multiplier.It can be seen that port economy has a driving effect on Yibin's current economic development.At the end of the paper,some reasonable suggestions are put forward for the integration of port economy and Yibin regional economy.It is hoped that the government will play its role in coordinating the development relationship between port and city,vigorously develop port logistics,undertake industry in an orderly manner,guide the industrial agglomeration of the park,strengthen the cooperation of port groups in southern Sichuan,and promote the construction of comprehensive multimodal transport system for the port.The economy will pave the way for Yibin's regional economic development to take off.
