With the urbanization process in China and the vigorous development of the automobile industry,people’s requirements for quality o f life have been constantly improving.Automobiles have become the main means of transportation for people’s daily travel.This has also made China’s car ownership continue to hit new highs.At the same time,the number of parking spaces in the city is difficult to meet the current parking demand,leading to traffic congestion and serious parking difficulties.The existing vehicle inventory had the disadvantages of large floor space,low automation,difficult management and maintenance,and high requirements on terrain restrictions.The future of garages is with low energy consumption,flexible installation,strong adaptability,high space utilization and high automation level.This paper proposed a vertical lift stereo garage based on PLC control,which aimed to solve such problems in stereoscopic car inventory.Firstly,it investigated the research status and development trend of ste reo parking equipment at home and abroad.The study analyzed the characteristics and working principle of different types of stereo garages.It was determined that the research object of this paper is a vertical lifting stereo garage.Secondly,the queuing theory of garages was applied to the queuing phenomenon of garages,and the mathematical model of queuing phenomenon of accessing vehicles was established.The MATLAB software was used to simulate the mathematical model of the access vehicle under differe nt strategies.Then determined the optimal access strategy for the stereo garage by analyzing the calculation results.The access vehicle control process was studied according to the determined access strategy.And the author designed the stereo garage PLC program.Finally,the monitoring system was designed based on the configuration software MCGS.Through the connection communication with the S7-200 PLC,real-time monitoring of the stereo garage control site is realized.
