With the development of the global economy integration process,the competition among the companies has been changed from the price,quality or service in a single firm to the competing of the supply chain management.Inventory in the whole supply chain is extremely important,and has become the key factor of the enterprise.The diversity of customer demand and the uncertainty of the rapid product replacement brought bigger challenge to the firm's supply chain management.Related researchof inventory becomes more meaningful under these conditions.Based on the analysis of the existing Battery Management System manufacturing enterpriseinventory management problems,the writer focused on finding the strategyandmethods to solve the problems from the perspective of supply chain management,so that it can improve the competitiveness of the company.The difficulty of the research is to find the solution to the characteristics of enterprise and product from the numerous inventory management theories and methods.Firstly,introduced the current theories of the inventory management;Secondly,described the materials characteristics of the product,and its inventory management problems of W group of division A were analyzed with the fishbone diagramanalysis.At last but not the least,to carry on the countermeasure analysis according to the main reasons.Two improvement measures are put forward according to the theory of supply chain management:One is demand forecast to the upstream of the supply chain.Considering the product life cycle andtheorganic combination of quantitative and qualitative prediction,select the suitable forecasting method to solve the demand forecasting problem and improve the accuracy of the demand forecasting.Another way is to carry on agile procurement.On this section,we focused on using the agile procurement to improve the delivery flexibility,L/T issue and the efficiency of the PO releasing.Implementing information sharing in the procurement side,as far as possible to reduce the occurrence of “bullwhip effect”.Enterprise actual case studies show that the implementation of the above two measuresachievethegoalof reducing inventory costs,not dumb and no shortage ofinventory.
