Research On The International Functional Layout Of Xi'an

The international function is an urban function system that plays the role of distribution,radiation and influence across the world in the fields of economy,hub,culture,communication and service.Internationalized functional space is the bearing area for the flow and agglomeration of international development factors within a city.The optimization and promotion of internationalized function is the process of deepening the city's global influence and regulatory power.International function,as the core component of an international metropolis and the carrier of global economic flow,information flow,technology flow,talent flow and traffic flow,is an important basis for judging the development level of an international metropolis.At present,there are abundant research results on international metropolises at home and abroad,but few of them involve the research on the internationalization of urban functions and the spatial layout of international functions.Therefore,this study takes the international functional layout as the research entry point,and explores the concept of international functional spatial layout of Xi'an,aiming at providing reference for exploring the construction path of the internationalized metropolis with Xi'an's urban characteristics and the integration and optimization of the overall urban functional space.First,this paper carries out a theoretical analysis of the research on the international functional layout of Greater Xi'an on the basis of building a new starting point of the Greater Xi'an and Silk Road Economic Belt and the development strategy of the international metropolis.Based on the characteristics and laws of the development of internationalized metropolitan cities,the evolution of the composition of international functions and the classification of the functions of cities under the Athens Charter,the international functions are divided into five categories: international hub function,international economic function,international communication function,international cultural function and international service function.It is pointed out that the international functions have three basic features: concomitance,pluralism and compoundity.Secondly,by analyzing the evolution characteristics of internationalization functions and the spatial distribution characteristics of related elements in London,New York,Paris and Shanghai,this paper explores the development and spatial distribution of internationalization functions.At the same time,this paper explores the existing problems of international function development and spatial layout of Xi'an.on the basis of the concept of international function,theoretical system and the analysis of the composition and structural system of Greater Xi'an internationalization function.Finally,within the scope of the construction of Greater Xi'an,this paper explores the future layout of the five international functions of Xi'an,namely,the function of international hub,the function of international economy,the function of international communication,the function of international culture and the function of international service,and puts forward the development strategy of the international function of Xi'an.
