Combined with a super-high residential group in Chengdu, researches of safety, reliability,stability,water and energy saving of it’s water supply system was made, the main contents areas follows: First, analyzing the current energy situation in our country, indicating the impor-tance of architectural water and energy saving. Second, the analysis and comparison of threekinds of super-high rise buildings high water supply scheme, as well as the applicableconditions, the limiting factor (pressure rating of pipe fittings, noise pollution, etc.), industrystandard constraints and so on were made. Third, through the actual project cases, selection ofresidential, office, hotel of class, complex and other types of super-high rise buildings domesticwater supply modes analysis and comparison, summarizes the150meters below the buildingcan adopt5kinds of parallel water-supply modes,10kinds of200meters above the buildingscan adopt series water supply mode and overrun super-high rise (especially above500meters)buildings used the way of water supply. Fourth, the simulation model of the variable frequencymodulation water supply system was made with FLOWMASTER. Fifth, to Chengdu, a superhigh-rise residential groups of the domestic water system for the engineering example, throughthe software simulation, transient calculations, validation of water supply reliability in parallelwater-supply modes, checking the flow rate, pressure, velocity, whether such as meet therequirement of design, and provides reference for the design to optimize the direction. Sixth,adding water auxiliary pump as the trough of pressurized water supply equipment, and theenergy saving analysis of residential group building domestic water supply system aftershowing that the system was more perfect, economy energy saving optimization, which were ofpractical guiding significance.Transient calculation results show that:⑴When using parallel connection water supply,It need to ensure the pressure resistanceof pipes and pipe fittings, otherwise the system long time in a state of high pressure willproduce hazards such as explosion, leakage phenomenon. Parallel connection water supplysystem was safety and reliable for buildings less than150m.(2) The actual flow rate of high area, District2, District1was lager than calculated value,so huge economic, energy loss will be caused if this equipment was used for the domestic watersupply system.(3)The variable frequency modulation water supply system equipment can fully ensureclient water pressure requirements, the client supply pressure was stable while booster pumpoutlet pressure was stable. (4) The flow velocity in service pipe was slightly small. According to the latestspecification provides water flow velocity in duct should not be less than0.8m/s and higherthan the1.2m/s. Combined with the project, it was known that the small flow velocity was dueto larger design pipe diameter.(5) Adding water auxiliary pump as the trough of pressurized water supply equipment,and making simulations for this optimization scheme. The simulation results show that watersupply energy consumption of high area,2in the area, and the district1decreasing obviously,the energy saving was remarkable.
