As an important equipment for continuous transportation of materials,belt conveyor has the advantages of low cost,simple structure,large transport capacity and stable operation.It is widely used in coal,ore,grain,port and other transport industries,and has become an indispensable key transport equipment in the national economy.Deviation is the most common problem in the running process of belt conveyor.In recent years,with the development of belt conveyor towards the direction of long distance,large amount of transportation and high belt speed,the problem of deviation becomes more and more prominent.In this paper,a belt conveyor as the object of study,the main research work is as follows:(1)The causes of deviation of belt conveyor are summarized systematically and the solving measures are put forward.According to the lateral dynamic equation of conveyor belt,the main factors affecting the lateral stability of belt are belt speed and tension force of belt conveyor,lateral bending stiffness and coefficient of recovery force of conveyor belt;(2)The virtual prototype model of 1:1 belt conveyor is established in ADAMS to simulate the deviation of belt conveyor.The simulation results show that the deviation result of the virtual prototype of belt conveyor accords with the actual working condition.The feasibility of using virtual prototype technology to study the deviation of belt conveyor is proved;(3)In the virtual prototype model,the influence of belt speed,tension force and lateral bending stiffness of conveyor belt on the deviation of belt is analyzed,and the relation diagram between each factor and the deviation quantity is obtained.The influence of the deflection angle of the center-adjusting roller and the positive pressure of the conveyor belt on its rectifying ability is also analyzed;(4)An experimental platform is built to study the deviation correction ability of the belt conveyor's center-adjusting roller.The experimental results show that the correction ability of the center-adjusting roller increases with the increase of the deflection angle at the start phase,and when the angle exceeds a certain fixed value,the correction ability decreases with the increase of the deflection angle,which is basically in agreement with the simulation results.
