Research On The Relationship Between Highway Infrastructure Construction And Regional Economic Development In Shaanxi Province

Highway infrastructure is the material basis for promoting the flow of production factors between cities,and an important means to improve the level of economic development.As an important transportation hub,Shaanxi Province has carried out a large number of road infrastructure constructions in recent years.However,there are large differences of infrastructure construction between various areas,which leads to the inconsistency between highway infrastructure construction and economic development.Therefore,by studying the impact of highway infrastructure investment on regional economy,it is of great practical significance to coordinate the development of regional economy and investment.This paper takes Shaanxi Province as an example to research.Firstly,it studies the impact of highway infrastructure construction on regional economy,and analyzes the correlation and influence paths between the two.Based on the current situation of Shaanxi's economy,a CGE model consisting of three modules of production,consumption and trade was constructed.The Shaanxi provincial social accounting matrix was used as the basic data to simulate the impact of investment on the industrial sector,regional GDP and consumption.Analyze the pulling effect of highway infrastructure construction investment on the total output of other industries.This paper selects 10 prefecture-level cities in Shaanxi Province as research units,and the traffic dominance model were used to analyze the spatial and temporal evolution of economic development level in different cities.Based on the coupling coordination degree model,the spatial and temporal co-evolution characteristics of the economic development level and traffic dominance of Shaanxi Province were systematically analyzed.The evolution trend was imaged by ArcGIS.Finally,relevant policy recommendations for highway infrastructure economic development are proposed.
