With the improvement of modern material life,users have seen too many packaging forms,and they have also found that the simple concept of packaging design is more and more unsuitable for the ideology of modern society.The interactive packaging design,which relies on the subdivision of packaging design,breaks this phenomenon to a certain extent,it stays no longer in the simple display of concept,but actually considers the consumer's user experience and practices the demand of consumers for brand and packaging design "from use to emotion".However,the externalized form of interactive packaging design is perceptual and ambiguous,but the process of designer planning and design is rational.Therefore,in the product packaging design,we can make use of the visual illusion and the scientific basis behind the visual illusion,through the rational design of color visual illusion,graphic visual illusion,modeling visual illusion,material visual illusion,etc..It can stimulate the nerve of the audience,improve the interest of the design work,enhance the user's emotion and interactive experience,and at the same time,it can also correct the packaging design visually through the visual illusion,so that it can be more reasonable in the visual sense.Starting from the application of visual illusion in interactive packaging design,this paper combs the visual illusion design techniques and thinking enlightenment suitable for product packaging design,and hopes to sum up and summarize the relevant design principles through systematic arrangement.It provides theoretical basis and practical method for packaging design in China,and provides reference for product packaging designers.At the same time,the design practice is carried out,and the packaging design of moon cakes on the Mid-Autumn Festival is taken as the research object.According to the analysis of the cultural connotation,custom,lunar phase principle and the existing packaging problems of moon cake packaging on the Mid-Autumn Festival,the visual illusion is applied to the packaging design of moon cakes on the Mid-Autumn Festival scientifically and reasonably.
