Due to the development of economic globalization,the pace of China's opening to the outside world is accelerating,and the construction industry,as an important part of modern service industry,is opening to the outside world more and more vigorously.This not only brings rare opportunities for development of China's construction industry,but also brings unavoidable challenges and shocks.In the face of fierce competition,if our construction enterprises want to remain invincible,they must strengthen project cost management and benefit from management.How to effectively carry out cost control and improve the economic benefits of construction enterprises is the primary problem faced by project cost management.Therefore,the importance of project cost control in construction enterprises is self-evident.The strength of cost control capability has gradually become the first factor affecting the survival and development of enterprises and the whole production of the industry.Pattern and production mode,and cost control throughout the whole process of construction projects,including decision-making stage,design stage,construction stage and completion delivery stage,so cost control will inevitably become the core of cost management,is an important part of construction enterprise management.From the microcosmic point of view,project cost management is essentially the cost control of an enterprise.The quality of cost control directly affects the profits of the whole enterprise and indirectly affects its survival and development.From the macroscopic point of view,cost control is also an important link related to the economic benefits and GDP growth of the whole country.Therefore,the research on cost control not only has an important impact on enterprises,but also has an extraordinary significance for the whole country.The current backward cost control system and technology can not meet the needs of the development of China's construction industry,seriously restricting the normal andhealthy development of construction enterprises,affecting the sound development of the national economy,so cost control has become a hot issue.On the basis of defining the theory and concept of project cost control,this paper combs the cost control of hotel project according to the composition of cost and the time series of project development,taking XX hotel project as the breakthrough point of actual case,combining with the relevant methods of project cost control,aiming at optimizing the cost control of construction project,and combing the cost control of hotel project according to the composition of cost and the time series of project development.The problems existing in each stage of the system are pointed out,such as lack of precise investigation,effective planning and evaluation,non-standard bidding,lack of competitive units,lack of communication in design details,insufficient understanding of bidding units,lack of execution ability in contract implementation,lack of cost control awareness,frequent construction changes and so on.The cost of the company's project cost management has not been effectively controlled by the constituent factors.In view of the existing problems and reasons of project cost control,combined with the actual situation of XX hotel renovation project,this paper puts forward optimization and improvement measures for project cost control.Taking the project life cycle as the breakthrough point,this paper systematically analyses the cost control methods that can be adopted in each stage of the project,and puts forward the cost control methods in different stages.In the decision-making stage,the technical scheme can be selected preliminarily by means of research,initial design and strict approval,so as to select more practical and cheaper schemes.In the design phase,the implementation of quota design will further limit the cost beyond the budget.In the stage of procurement and bidding,we should strictly implement the contents stipulated in the contract,draw up a comprehensive bidding plan,and reduce the impact of market price fluctuations on cost control.In the construction stage,cost deviation is analyzed and controlled by work decomposition and earned value analysis method.
