Study On Competitiveness Evaluation Of Qinhuangdao Port

With the advancement of the 13 th Five-Year Plan,China's port economy has entered a critical period of rapid development and transformation.As one of Bohai Bay Port Group,Qinhuangdao Port has maintained a leading position in coal transportation.However,Port of Qinhuangdao has also been affected by the promotion of the national supply-side reform.Here,I hope to study the development status of Qinhuangdao Port,analyze the competition situation in the surrounding ports,and then explore the main factors affecting the competitiveness of Qinhuangdao Port,and seek effective ways to enhance the competitiveness of Qinhuangdao Port.Based on the theory of competitive evaluation,this paper combines the theoretical basis with the case analysis,and uses the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to systematically evaluate and comprehensively analyze the competitiveness of Qinhuangdao Port.Firstly,the concepts of general competitiveness and competitiveness evaluation are expounded.Secondly,the environment of domestic ports is analyzed by PEST analysis method.At the same time,Porter's five-force model is used to summarize the development of port industry,and this paper try to analyze the development of Qinhuangdao Port and the competitive situation of the surrounding ports;thirdly,through the construction of a reference port competitiveness evaluation index system,this paper makes use of the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight,and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to compare of the Competitiveness of Qinhuangdao Port with the other three ports in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Port Circle.According to the analysis results,the policy recommendations and safeguard measures for improving the competitiveness of Qinhuangdao Port are proposed.Comparison of Qinhuangdao Port with the Other Three Ports.Based on the actual data,the research in this paper has certain reference value to Qinhuangdao Port,which helps Qinhuangdao Port to overcome difficulties,tap potential and increase efficiency,and achieve good and fast development.It also helps Qinhuangdao Port to handle in the development process.The cooperation and competition relationship with the surrounding ports will help promote the overall regional economic development of Qinhuangdao City and Hebei Province,and also play a positive role in the healthy and orderly development of the port ports around the port.
