Research On Design Of Public Space With Function Replacement In Old City

As a basic element of urban development,the public space in the old city bears the functions of residents' daily public activities and communication activities,which is an important content of urban renewal in China.However,due to the traditional large-scale and extensive urban renewal,the public space in the old city has a series of problems,such as single functional structure,identical morphological scheme,untimely scale,backward supporting facilities and low spatial quality,which also has a negative impact on the living environment in the old city.With the promotion of new urbanization and the entering of stock era,the urban renewal begins to change to "stock optimization".At the same time,the introduction of national policies requires the activation of the stock land and the encouragement of urban design,so how to carry out the renovation and design of the stock land in the old city has become an urgent problem to be solved in the current renewal of the old city.As a typical representative of the redevelopment of the stock land,the functional replacement public space in the old city has increasingly become a construction trend.With functional replacement the old type public space as the research subject,based on the function of the displacement of the definition of the public space and urban renewal and public space at home and abroad the analysis of the related theory and practice research,the integrated use of organic renewal theory,behavioral psychology theory and theory of urban color,clear the complexity of the old city public space design.Therefore,when the existing public space of the old city cannot meet the needs of people,the mode of function replacement is introduced to promote the self-adjustment of the old city through the intervention of new functional elements,which not only updates the use function of the region,but also integrates the spatial system of the old city.Public space based on the functional replacement the old type,characteristics and types of analysis of the key problems to be studied in the design,and the restriction of the old town complex urban environment,make the urban space of contact,the old city dynamic excitation,the improvement of the land use function,the continuation of historical context,in situ material utilization,the implementation of cost control is become one of the most important aspects of the functional replacement type public space research.Combining with the design and the key problem of residents' demands for the function of public space,from the old quarter on three levels: macro,meso and micro functional replacement of the public space design strategy research,has been clear about the macro level study of urban overall-use "fusion" the integrity of the urban space design strategy,with overall urban land function and spatial structure optimization of concrete methods to coordinate the whole urban space,the activation of a decline in the old city area;Research on the site itself at the middle level--to "solve the regional expression of the use function" through the coordination of site cultural continuity and inheritance,user demand implantation and architectural entity style,which is mainly reflected in the urban cultural inheritance,site feature continuity,spatial accessibility improvement and reasonable scale construction under the construction of demand model;Research on specific design at the micro level--carry out "adaptive design considering implementation effect" by using local materials reserve and human landscape space construction,including local materials,ground paving,landscape sketch,landscape facilities,plant landscape,etc.Finally combined with the practice of pingyuan county harmony square south block case,from land use function,space,system integration,site features to retain,garden form design,the construction entity to update,material recycling,create humane workplace strategy,build perfect functions,a dynamic public space,the old hope to related research achievements in the research of functional replacement the old type of public space.
