| The analysis of urban residents’ travel behavior is very important to urban traffic planning and management.Scientific theories and methods are used to analyze residents’ travel behavior and master the general rules of residents’ travel,so as to provide prediction basis for urban traffic demand.Further scientific traffic management policies can be formulated and traffic planning schemes that suitable for urban development will be proposed.In recent years,China’s economic level is constantly improving,but at the same time,the income gap of urban residents is also expanding,and the travel behavior of different income groups will also be different because of the income difference.Therefore,to analyze the travel behavior of urban residents,fully consider the income difference of residents,through the comparative analysis of travel behavior of different income groups,we can more accurately understand the travel characteristics of different income groups,which is of great significance to put forward targeted traffic guidance measures.Based on the data of residents’ travel survey in Shanghai,this paper constructs a nested Logit model based on the theory of utility maximization,compares and analyzes the significant influencing factors of travel choice of different income groups.And puts forward the corresponding traffic guidance countermeasures.The main contents of the paper include:(1)Analysis of the current situation of travel behavior research at home and abroad.This paper summarizes the current research situation of residents’ travel behavior from three aspects: research method,research object and data source,and summarizes the shortcomings existing in the existing research and the points of this paper.(2)Research of travel behavior theory.This paper expounds the concept related to travel,the basic connotation of travel behavior,and discusses the basic theory and research method of travel behavior analysis.By comparing and analyzing the disaggregate model and the aggregate model,the advantages of the disaggregate model in the field of travel behavior research are discussed,and the model structure,model principle,modeling process and model parameter calibration of the nested logit model in the disaggregate model are introduced emphatically.(3)Data acquisition and processing of travel surveys.By installing GPS positioning software on smart phones to collect residents’ travel data,the travel survey based on smart phones makes up for the defects of traditional travel survey methods.This paper explains the process of collecting travel data using smart phones in detail,then preprocess the collected raw data,and carries out descriptive statistical analysis of the survey data from personal and family attributes and travel information.Grasp and understand the datacharacteristics from the macro level,and provide guidance for the selection of nested logit model variables.(4)Analysis of travel behavior of different income groups.The paper first defines different income groups,and statistically analyzes the travel characteristics of low-income groups,middle-income groups and high-income groups,then establishes a nested logit model that affects travel mode and travel purpose.And uses R language to calibrate the model parameters to obtain the travel selection characteristics of different income groups,and then puts forward the traffic management strategy according to the significant factors that affect the travel of different income groups.This paper mainly analyzes the factors that affect the choice of residents’ travel behavior.This study not only clarifies the social division of labor and service objects of different travel tools,but also can guide urban residents to travel more rationally and economically.At the same time,it studies the travel behavior of different income groups,and puts forward some suggestions about travel,which also provides a new perspective to solve the problem of traffic congestion. |
