| In recent years,the terminal production level is required to improve by the rapid development of transport market and the large-scale ship.However,the traditional general cargo terminal has no advantages in response to the development trend of the entire shipping because of a low degree of automation and production efficiency.In case of a certain number of terminal equipment and no room for improvement in mechanical efficiency,handling technology has become the major factor which limits the handling operation efficiency.And how to improve the traditional production process,improve the terminal handling efficiency is also the problem that port operators care.On the basis of the investigation and reference to the hybrid cross operation mode of the container terminal,this paper put forward the hybrid cross operation mode of the general cargo terminal according to the actual operation mode and simulated it.Firstly,the traditional handling technology of the general cargo terminal was introduced and the traditional fixed line mode was analyzed,then the hybrid cross process was put forward based on the tractor in the transport.Secondly,the data of the operation of a general cargo terminal(including the layout of the dock,the type of cargo,the handling machinery and the mechanical efficiency)are analyzed statistically,which would be used to construct the simulation model.Then,the simulation models of the traditional handling technology and the hybrid cross process have been set up with the Plant Simulation software,according to the cargo handling characteristics and the requirements of simulation targets.Finally,through the comparison of the simulation results in each mode of operation,it was found that the hybrid operation can really alleviate the storage pressure of the yard,improve the handling efficiency of the terminal by investigation for the efficiency of gantry crane.When the efficiency of the gantry crane changes,the traditional handling process and the hybrid cross process have their own advantages. |
