| School travel behavior refers to the behavior of school-age children,which is the main behavior of children’s daily life.The School travel mode is the carrier of children’s School travel behavior,and the School travel environment is the main place of school travel behavior.Due to the change of urban population structure,the development of multiple modes of transportation and the change of urban primary school education resources layout,the existing school travel environment cannot meet the needs of school-age children.Too many private cars are more traffic load in large cities,and seriously threaten the healthy growth of children.Therefore,in the context of the construction of Children Friendly City,to explore a more suitable school travel environment for children can promote children to choose walking and public transport,and it is particularly important to improve the level of children’s health and safety.Firstly,this study is based on the global upsurge of building a child friendly city and the lack of children’s health and safety under the impact of the reality of motor vehicles.Combing and summing up the development and entry point of relevant research at home and abroad,to provide a theoretical basis for the study of influencing factors of the choice of school travel modes.Secondly,the main urban primary school of Dalian is taken as the research object.This paper analyzes the spatial distribution of primary schools in the main urban area of Dalian,and analyzes the distribution characteristics of existing primary schools in Dalian,the relationship between primary schools and road traffic environment,and the service scope and supply and demand status of primary schools by using the method of GIS.It can be seen that the current layout of primary schools in the main urban area of Dalian cannot meet the needs of urban school-age children,so the service radius of primary school education resources and facilities deviates from the actual situation,resulting in the contradiction between supply and demand,resulting in the increase of distance between general education and the use of private cars.Through the investigation of the case primary schools,the land use and road traffic environment around the two cases primary schools were compared,and 630 primary school students’ basic characteristics of school travel behavior and satisfaction score of school travel environment were sent out to provide empirical basis for the analysis of influencing factors of school travel mode selection.Thirdly,based on the theoretical basis and empirical basis,using the statistical model,the variables of influencing factors in the choice of primary school students’ travel mode are assigned,and it can be seen that the secondary influencing factors include: whether to live in the school district,road scale,street facilities,landscape greening,children’s interesting signs,distance from the school,road connectivity,school gate location,time consumption,time,public transport stations Student grade,student age,relationship between the transporters,traffic conditions at the school gate and traffic control.All of them have significant influence on the school travel.At the same time,AHP is used to determine the influence degree of the influencing factors of different school travel mode.Finally,based on the above research,through the optimization of primary school facilities layout,the optimization of walking and public transportation environment and other strategies,guide and promote more families and children to choose walking and public transportation mode,to provide the basis for the future construction of Children Friendly school travel environment. |
