It is a long-term strategic task for China to build a resource-saving and environment-friendly society.During the 11 th and 12 th five-year plan period, remarkable achievements were made in energy conservation and emission reduction.During the 13 th five-year plan period,China's energy demand grew steadily, and resource and environmental problems remained one of the bottlenecks restricting China's economic and social development, energy conservation and emission reduction remain daunting tasks. As a public institution, university is one of the key areas of energy conservation and emission reduction.there are a large number of colleges and universities in China, and the types of buildings are also diverse. The total energy consumption and energy intensity of university buildings are also constantly increasing, and there is potential for energy saving in building energy consumption. This study takes the electricity consumption of teaching buildings, libraries and dormitory buildings of a university in Guangdong province as the research object.Through literature research, statistical analysis and field research, the energy consumption level of campus buildings was studied. The energy consumption of campus buildings is reflected from annual electricity consumption, monthly electricity consumption and electricity consumption per unit building area. And put forward the energy-saving optimization strategy of campus building,so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction, the construction of resource-saving society in China has important practical significance. The main results are as follows:1.This paper analyzes the building energy saving feature of teaching building, library and student dormitory building from five aspects: building planning, building envelope, heating ventilation and air conditioning, water supply and drainage, electricity and lighting. The teaching buildings and student dormitories built in the early stage did not take much into account in terms of energy-saving design strategy, but the library,as a landmark building in the campus, did an excellent job in building planning and maintenance structure, the interior of the building makes full use of natural ventilation, the roof is designedwith green and insulated roof, and the facade is shaded with louvers to reduce the energy consumption of the building. The library is the most energy-saving building in the campus.2.The energy consumption of the library, teaching building and student dormitory building is calculated. The energy consumption of the campus building is analyzed from three aspects: annual electricity consumption, monthly electricity consumption and electricity consumption per unit building area. And compared with that of the other same kind of colleges and universities building to reflect the level of energy consumption, through compared with other colleges and universities found this university's teaching building, dormitory building energy consumption level is higher, and the low level of energy consumption for the library, but there is the potential of energy saving, statistics of the installed power of electrical equipment at the same time, points out the need to focus on energy saving.3.According to the power-consuming structure and characteristics of all kinds of buildings, the energy-saving optimization strategy is put forward, which focuses on the energy-saving improvement of lighting system and air conditioning system. In addition,it also puts forward Suggestions on improving the construction of energy consumption monitoring platform, strengthening the publicity and education of energy conservation awareness, improving the electricity efficiency of the campus,to provide the construction of energy-saving campus with technical support.
