the large residential community is a product of urban rapid expansion.As a type of urban margin group,It is set up by government and aims to evacuate the population in urban centers,also supplemented by certain public service facilities.The existing public service facilities of large residential communities are faced with huge challenges due to the rapid concentration of the population from the lagging-behind of planning standards and implementation,irreplaceable space and combination of industry and residence.In this paper,a new perspective has been put forward.Firstly,the author combs the origins and evolution of large communities in Beijing City and the contradictory logic relationship between the large communities and public service facilities to further explore the value and meaning of public service facility renewal planning for large residential community;secondly,the author reviews the relevant theories and research development of public service facilities both at home and abroad and selects three typical foreign cases for analysis;for the actual cases,Huilongguan residential community in Changping District of Beijing City is taken to discuss the existing problems and evolution of public service facilities of residential community.Based on the development and problems of the public service facilities in Huilongguan District,the indicator testing method is applied to analyze relevant data.Combining with the spatial characteristics of residents' behaviors and administrative boundaries,the classification is conducted on the public service facilities of education,medicine,culture,sportand senior citizen.Ultimately the optimization strategies for the public service facilities in Huilongguan District are put forward to further generate the suggestions which can guide the planning renewal of public service facilities of large residential communities in Beijing City.
