Children are the representatives of urban vulnerable groups and their treatment reflects the basic value of urban planning.At present,the concept of urban construction does not encourage children to use their independent travel rights,and the urban development process is also constantly reducing children's activity space.Among them,the school space,as the main place for carrying children's activities,has become the concentrated reflection area of related issues.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the system of protecting children's rights and interests in independent schooling and to create a school environment for joint construction and sharing.Based on the research on the special planning of public service facilities in the western part of Hohhot city,this paper finds that the western part of Hohhot city bears the typical contradiction between children and the urban environment,and presents a tense use relationship,which is representative to a certain extent.The corresponding problems can be classified into three categories.The first is the traffic problem that threatens the safety of children,the second is the health problem that affects the growth of children,and the last is the road right problem that prevents children from going to school independently.This paper holds that the above problems are closely related to the management mode of primary schools in Hohhot,the environmental quality of old urban areas and the construction of supporting systems.Want to solve the problem,not only to the school of the built environment to promote space,still need to organize the elementary school running mode,adjust the participation of the public management mode,establish systematic understanding of architecture,to fully understanding the complexity of the children to school behavior and to explore the practical and feasible optimization method,attain the goal of children's independent school.Based on the attention to the small-scale renewal of urban space based on the stock background,this paper is based on the current school district unit of the primary school in the western district of Hohhot.First,by means of service coverage analysis and population coupling analysis,the supply and demand relationship and supply capacity of each primary school in its school district were compared.According to the preset threshold,the analysis results of each primary school were summarized into four types.Secondly,the sample schools were selected from four types,and the built and unbuilt environmental problems contained in the school district were sorted out and refined based on mitra's social ecological model theory.Thirdly,the "communication action" planning method is used to organize multiple subjects to participate in the discussion,and to guide school subjects to make subjective evaluation on the school path from the perspectives of safety,accessibility and guidance.Finally,the key areas of environmental improvement are determined by combining the evaluation content and field survey results.According to the functional characteristics of different departments,the paper proposes feasible environmental improvement schemes and institutional Suggestions to promote social participation from different levels.Finally,it is found that the independent school environment is not only related to the health and safety of children,but also conducive to the establishment of social relations among children.However,the relevant decision-making is greatly influenced by the factors of non-built environment,so it is necessary to strengthen the role of communication in the investigation stage.At the same time,it points out that with the development of network media,independent school will be conducted on the premise of respecting multiple travel intentions.The integration conception proposed will be more feasible.
