Research On Key Success Factors And Countermeasures Of Construction Claims

Since the reform and opening up,as an important part of China's national economy,the proportion of construction industry in GDP has increased year by year.The increasing competition,the large volume and long operating time of construction,various uncertain factors causing the risk of smooth implementation of the project is large,and the profit margin of construction enterprises is gradually thin.Although the concept of claim introduced in the 1970 s has brought new ideas to the profitability of construction enterprises,the lack of claim experience and related theoretical research,the success rate of claim for compensation in China's construction enterprises is very low,which has not brought effective results.Therefore,how to control the key points of construction claims and improve the success rate of construction claims is very important.This paper expects to combine theoretical research and practical experience,use statistical methods to analyze the influencing factors of success,extract the key success factors,and use mathematical models to explore the relationship between the key success factors of construction claims and the strength of the relationship,so as to provide help for the success of construction claims.Fist,this paper analyzes the current situation.Then it summarizes and analyzes the domestic and foreign related literature of construction claim,and obtains the list of factors influencing the success of construction claim.Then,on the basis of this list,combined with the characteristics of construction claims and the questionnaire issued by the experts to revise the list,36 successful influencing factors of construction claims are obtained.Secondly,the importance of factors influencing the success of construction claims is investigated by issuing formal questionnaires,the recycled data is processed by statistical software,and the statistical data is analyzed and refined to get the key success factors of construction claims.Thirdly,using the interpretative structure model to analyze the influencing mechanism of key success factors and determine the hierarchical relationship of each success factor;MICMAC method is used to group the key success factors and analyze the relationship strength of success factors.The research shows that the claim negotiation is the key stage,and the enterprise claim experience and relevant relationship are the most fundamental key success factors.This study can provide new ideas for the research of construction claim in China,and also provide the basis for claim management for enterprises and projects.Then,in view of the key success factors with high impact,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on the success of construction claim from the aspects of paying attention to the accumulation of enterprise claim experience,the maintenance of external relations,the improvement of management level of project and the claim management ability.Finally,the case of project F claim in city B is analyzed to prove that the identified key success factors play a key role in the construction claim.
