Research For Through Traffic Organization And Key Intersection Traffic Design On Urbanized Area

Through traffic in urbanized areas is an important part of urban traffic.Excessive through traffic passing through the urbanized areas will have a very adverse impact on the city's production,residents' lives,and traffic safety,because of through traffic only passes through the city,and there are many large vehicles.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to do a good job in the analysis of through traffic demand in urbanized areas,research on through traffic organization,and research on traffic design combined with key road intersections.This paper uses the method of combining theory and practice to study the demand of through traffic,traffic organization and traffic design of key road intersections,taking the medium-sized cities as the object.First of all,evaluate the traffic status of the research object city.Analyze the current traffic situation and find out the existing problems in the transit traffic treatment of urban built-up areas,based on a large number of data obtained from the survey.Then,forecasting the development trend of transit traffic by using the classic traffic demand forecasting method.Analyze the traffic service level of related roads through traffic load.Thirdly,forecast results based on current problems and transit traffic demand.Conduct transit traffic organization and evaluate the effect of traffic organization,by considering urban road traffic network and road function.At last,the time-space traffic design including intersection channelization and traffic signal timing optimization is carried out for the key road intersections which undertake transit traffic,and the optimization scheme is given.The research results can provide reference for transit traffic organization and traffic design of key intersections in built-up areas of medium-sized cities.67 figures,39 tables,72 references.
