East Khams of Ganzi Prefecture is located in the west of Sichuan Province and the southeast corner of Kangzang Plateau. The local climate conditions are bad,the topography is complex and changeable, and the economic development is backward.Influenced by economic and social development,Tibetan houses in this area are facing many difficulties:there are problems of regional inheritance in the form of residential houses, resulting in a large number of buildings with inappropriate functions and incompatible forms;lack of excavation of ecological experience in construction technology, the contradiction between the construction of residential houses and backward technology, increasingly scarce traditional materials;and in architectural culture, the inheritance of residential houses is prominent.Ignoring the unique religious culture and national culture of Tibetans, the loss of regional symbols is serious. It is worth discussing how to combine the natural environment and humanistic style of Kangdong area, seek the harmonious development of architecture and region in many contradictions, and construct suitable residential buildings on the basis of inheriting regional characteristics.Based on a large number of related investigations, surveying and testing, this paper uses typological methods to analyze and refine the architectural characteristics of local residential buildings, such as shape, space composition, elevation form and construction technology, summarizes the regional adaptation laws and Strategies of residential buildings, and explores their expression of specific natural environment and the expression of humanistic regionality.Firstly, starting with the present situation of Tibetan residences in Kangdong District of Ganzi Prefecture, this paper sorted out the objective geographical conditions such as topography, climate, religion, culture and human customs in Kangdong District, and analyzed their impact on the residential buildings.Through field investigation,it grasped the problems of loss of regional characteristics, mixed functional space and poor living environment of Tibetan residences, and qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed the indoor thermal circle ofresidential buildings in winter. The situation is not good, and the heating facilities are seriously inadequate.Through questionnaires,we can grasp the personal needs of local Tibetans.Secondly, through the typological method,21 representative residential samples in Kangdong area are studied, and the regional adaptability rules of architecture are analyzed from the aspects of planning, site selection, plane shape, elevation shape, construction technology, building materials, architectural decoration, etc.Based on the local unique architectural vocabulary, the regional adaptability strategies of Tibetan residential buildings are put forward from the aspects of natural environment and human features.Slightly.Finally,based on the adaptability strategy of residential buildings, following the practical needs of Tibetans, and taking inheriting regional culture and developing regional spirit as the principle, six residential design schemes adapted to different economic structures and natural environments are put forward, and the development and inheritance of local residential houses are prospectively discussed to explore the new direction of residential development, inherit and develop excellent regional culture,so as to adapt to local residential buildings. The research and development of Tibetan folk houses provide reference.
