Study On The Optimal Design Of Health Care Group For Disabled Elderly

The population aging has become an irreversible global problem since the 21 st century.At present,China's population aging speed is significantly faster than other countries in the world.The growth rate of the disabled elderly is also significantly increased.The disability rate(3.2% per year)and the prevalence rate of chronic diseases(2.5% per year)remain high.China's pension building system is divided into three categories: home-based pension,community pension and institutional pension.Institutions provide long-term living and fulltime care services for the elderly,and the elderly are mainly disabled and mentally retarded.However,at this stage,there is still a lack of systematic research on nursing group and unit design for the disabled elderly.From the perspective of architecture,the core problems at this stage include: the mismatch between the scale of nursing group and nursing efficiency,the lack of prediction of pathological changes of disabled elderly people in space design,the lack of reasonable division of living space for nurses,and the lack of interdisciplinary and multi perspective humanization and fine design research in space design.This paper takes the nursing space of the existing pension institutions in Dalian as the research object,and carries out research and research from two aspects of "space" and "behavior".The main research contents include:(1)This paper summarizes the research background,policies,norms and domestic and foreign practice cases;(2)By means of Surveying and mapping,photographing,interview,questionnaire and personal participation,the nursing group of Dalian elderly care institutions was investigated on the spot;(3)The research contents are summarized and analyzed from two aspects of space and behavior: type analysis of nursing space and scientific research of its function and space combination;record the whole day behavior of nurses and the elderly,analyze the work content,activity scope and space use cycle of nurses,judge the rationality of space and refined design requirements,and analyze the activity cycle,scope and space of the elderly Use feeling,judge the space humanization design demand;(4)Combined with the above research results,two kinds of design strategies are put forward,which are universal design for existing buildings and optimal design for new buildings.The importance and design strategy of living space for nursing staff are emphasized,and the refined design suggestions are attempted.From the perspective of architecture,combined with geriatrics,nursing and other disciplines,this paper hopes to improve the design of health care group space,and provide reference for the group and unit design of nursing space in elderly care institutions,so as to improve the quality of work and life of disabled elderly and nursing staff.
